But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

In my opinion I’m glad Geno isn’t a character. We have limited slots (that’s we know of) and he not that important of a character. If he was in more stuff than he could be an amazing addition, but he’s just too obscure for me.

How about "What if Cadence was in smash?" While highly unlikely, I believe that Necrodancer's rhythm based mechanics paired with the various weapons from the game could make for a very fun moveset
I can see her having several multi-hit attacks that do bonus damage if the player gets the button presses timed right with the attack animation. Her jab in particular could just be one long attack animation that has power depending on the rhythm.
Oh yeah, I was also thinking her down special could be the war drum, which Cadence can tap in rhythm over and over to temporarily boost her next attack's damage and knockback by 1.5x at half charge (1-4 consecutive drums), and 2x at full charge (5-6 consecutive drums)
The downsides to it would be that you'd be a sitting duck while charging, and it would go away if you don't attack someone in the next 5 seconds after using it

I know everyone’s sad he didn’t get in, But Sakurai is too. The way I see it, Mii costumes are honorable mentions. It Sakurai’s way of saying “Hey, we see you guys, and we want to include you too, even if they aren’t full fighters.” And to me, that’s more than enough.

Ok, but why do we need a 2nd Wario Ware rep? Why Ashley?? I love Wario Ware but does it really deserve another rep? What about Ashley? She doesn’t really do anything. She is just in the game. She is stock image witch. That’s how all the characters in Warioware are. Stock image alien. Stock image groove man. Stock image doctor character. Stock image ninjas (three of them). I love Wario ware (not as much as Wario Land), but none of the characters deserve to get into the game tbh. If you want Ashley, then fine, whatever. Everyone should want what they want.
Tracer from Overwatch? Dude, doomfist and genji is a much better request. Doomfist got the smash feel already and genji, he has for b attacks, shuriken, reflect, swift strike. He’s literally perfect!

Hell, Geno was a popular request even before there was a Smash Bros Melee. Which makes his continued absence even more tragic.
But, you do know what a tremendous mess Geno would be in Smash Bros., right? I mean, thanks to Iwata (God rest his soul, amen), Nintendo and Square Enix (the co-developer of the game) made the rounds, thus bringing back this marvelous RPG that is overrated just for being Mario (so talk about the game in my class).

Well, there's always the modding scene. There's some absolutely amazing fanmade Geno's out there.
Here I am, once again, to request Vaati be given a spotlight. If there's ever an episode where you don't immediately know who to pick. Please do Vaati, I've been waiting 14 episodes and he'll never have enough people to get into the priority list. He's a really unique character who needs more of a spotlight. You can give him that.

Will explode on the spot doing big damage to anyone near it, but it does minor recoil damage. Can be charged for more power.
Damage at No Charge:

Recoil: 10%
TNT Toss (Side B):
Tosses a block of TNT forwards, exploding when it comes in contact with enemies or the ground. It does good damage to enemies who are hit by the projectile but only weak area damage.

Firework Rocket (Up B):
Creeper rockets upwards into the sky with a large firework rocket strapped to its back. After two seconds of going up, the rocket will come off of Creepers back and continue going up, dealing damage to anyone who’s hit by it

Creeper will stand still and fill up its charge meter (it’s takes about 6 seconds to charge fully on empty when using Down B) when it’s charge meter is full, it becomes a Charged Creeper, which will buff one of its special attacks, once a special attack has been used in this form, its charge meter will go back to empty. The meter can also be filled by attacking other players.

I actually made one of the first Geno mods for SSBB! I'm glad to see someone else who had the idea of his 4 special moves being the same as his 4 special moves from the RPG and incorporate Timed Hits, though I did things a bit differently.
B: Geno Beam: Exactly the same as you envisioned it, minus the ability to jump. Being able to jump while charging does seem cool though.
Side B: Geno Whirl: Looks basically the same as in the RPG, and hitting the button while it is in flight makes it send out a small explosion at its current position that deals the timed hit. Instead of making it near-impossible to land but doing a ton of damage, I decided to make this his go-to kill move, sending enemies straight up and killing at around 100% (and making the Home Run sound). It takes some time to learn the timing but is fun to use without being broken.
Up B: Geno Boost: A floaty upwards boost that grants super armor during the ascent. It does not put him into freefall, and in fact increases the attack power of his aerials until he hits the ground. Though a lot of this was limited by the fact that timed boosts were not possible when I made the original mod and if I hadn't I might have done it differently, but I think making Geno Boost his triple jump makes more sense than putting it on his Down-B like most people seem to do. And descending from the sky to attack enemies feels very Geno-like.
Down B: Geno Blast: This looked a bit different, sending the beam into a point over Geno's head and then firing a series of beams from that point at a diagonal angle, spreading out like a triangle to cover a decent range in front of him. Deals heavy damage, especially if timed well, and holds enemies in place for the duration, but has very little knockback. It is balanced by Geno's vulnerability when using it and leaves a blind spot right in front of him, so if they dodge towards Geno they could get a free hit. It was a bit OP of an edgeguarding tool (though it would reset the enemy's recovery), but I balanced this by giving Geno very few strong moves that knocked the enemy sideways - with the exception of Geno Beam (which is hard to hit) his strongest attacks were designed to send enemies skywards, so you wouldn't be edgeguarding very often while playing as Geno anyway. Using it in the air would cause Geno to hover for a short period and fire the beams diagonally toward the ground from his current position instead, but could not be charged and would put him into freefall after using it.

Well do also know he's still one of the most wanted characters, and has a chance of being either DLC fighter number 5 or a bonus fighter pass character

Here’s my old list characters. If you want a similar character or would like to talk move sets, common over!
#1 Cranky Kong / other than having his pummel reference his scolding. Having Squack and potions in his moves could be cool, as well as a sitting taunt with a small hitbox at the back of his rocker.
#2 Tetris Blocks. Up special could be a Teleport block swap, and side special could have you control one of the many other Tetris blocks at a fixed distance.
#3 Bub the Buble dragon/ from Buble Buble.
#4 Excite bike racer/ his move set could be momentum-based.
#5 Porky Minch.
#6 Bomber Man.
#7 Dr. E. Gad

As always, another great move set that stays true to the game. The only thing I disagree with is the Up-B Move, namely the 199% factor about it. I think it would just be better if it had an easier timing, but when timed correctly Geno gets sent farther up in the air and he can spike with it (Basically the same effect as dealing 199% since spikes can kill at Zero). If a move has a tool that is so rare and is nearly impossible to actually land then why even add it in the first place? Also, why I am no expert on frames and input on them I don't think 2-Frame input would be super rare since I see competitor players edge guard with 2-Frames every now and then.
Anyway, great job yet again and looking forward to next week!

I think Mach Rider wod be a pretty cool character to see, maybe he could have a gimmick where his attacks and different depending on weither hes moving or not

What about "what if Rajang from Monster Hunter was in smash?" His main attacks would be the standard punching, the sonic-like spin in the air and crash down, and his lightning bolt. He could pick up rocks, and when he reaches a certain percentage he becomes enraged, making his attack stronger. His final smash would make hime go behind the stage, picking up a MASSIVE boulder, and chucking it down on the stage, knocking everyone super far.
I think I’ve already requested this, but I hope you can make a moveset for octolings from Splatoon soon. The inklings in Smash only use weapons from the first game, and Splatoon 2 introduces plenty of new weapons to make a unique move set out of. Even the non-weapon physical attacks can reflect how the octolings are more serious, curious, and sort of awkward compared to the chill, stylish, and fun loving inklings. Also, just an idea, but I think that for the octoling’s final smash, they can catch a ride on Off the Hook’s helicopter and fire Pearl’s Princess Cannon from the background (sort of like Zero Suit Samus’s final smash).
I hope you’ll do octolings soon, but go at your own pace and do whichever characters you like. You’re videos are very pleasing to watch, even if I have no clue who the character you’re talking about is. Keep up the good work. 👏🏼
(Also, it would be funny if you did octolings on an episode ending with 8 like 38 or 48 🎱)

Heya, dumb Question, I know I know, but can I suggest a character? I would like to see “What it Castle Crashers Knight was in Smash?” It would be interesting, all the abilities and specials could make reference to the original four knights with the magic. Neautral b could be a quick poison attack! Side b could be a blast of frost, similar to Ice Climbers Down B! His down B could be a circular ball around him that explodes into flames! Not really based on much. Up B could be a giant lighting strike propelling him upwards! It does have a meteor smash effect if it hits then while propelling him upwards. These are just the special moves. I would love to see your take on this!!!
