I’ve never tried extensions at all but this makes me want to try. Great to do while I’m waiting to grow out my own hair.
A trick : you can watch series at flixzone. Been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.

If you ever want permanent extensions, you can cut the clips off and ask the stylist to bead them to your hair. Or if she glues clumps to a line, she could use the rows technique which is cheaper.

These extensions and your natural hair are GORGEOUS!! I WISH I could get extensions like this and have them look nice, but I can't. I have naturally very curly hair but I have lost probably 70-80% of it due to medical issues and I don't even have enough hair to hide the wefts, no matter what I do. It's to the point that my boyfriend saw how depressed I have become about it and how much it has ruined my confidence and self-esteem that he offered to buy me a nice wig and I asked him to just shave my head for me next weekend, since I don't see the point in even keeping the depressingly tiny amount of hair I have left...I wish I could just use extensions like these 😔💔

Did you use all the wefts from both the curly and kinky? did you use the equivalent to one pack of hair or did you need more than one
Just one pack of hair! I used only the custom colored kinky ❤️ And yes, I used all the wefts!

The dark hair is actually my natural hair color! Those photos were from 2016 when I was still transitioning! 🥰💕

I’m wearing the kinky set in this video! I chose to dye the kinky set because I knew the texture might change after I colored them, so I grabbed a tighter texture just in case but normally the curly texture would work fine for my hair if I wasn’t altering them ❤️

Shame on all salons who won't do curly hair extensions. This video proves it csn be done. They just need to perm the extensions with a curl pattern which is customised to the client. That's literally it.

This relies to much on longer layers near the top of head...which I don't have
You can always try this with a style up top like half up half down or in a pony! Just something to blend it a little better ❤️
I don't understand why braiding the "neck part"... How it would look like if she didn't braid them?
Since the bottom layer would be much shorter than the extension hair, it would have a short, straight across "shelf" effect and be clearly visible that you are wearing extensions. It would basically be a layer of really short hair sticking out 😋 By tucking that in, it makes the extension hair looks more natural since it will be just a long layer of hair on the bottom. I hope that makes sense!

do we have to do this everyday? you can sleep with it?
You could possibly sleep with them, however I wouldn’t recommend it since they are heavy and you don’t want to compromise your natural hair. If you are looking for a more permanent solution, I would say head to a salon and see if they can install extensions professionally for you for long term wear! ❤️
