Loved this vlog Xenia. I think it is important to remember that work colleagues are never your friends. You may think they are, they may be super nice, but in a crisis or competition, they're all trying to climb to the top of that greasy pole and will usurp you or drop you like a hot potato! I speak from personal experience and those of close friends.
i just gotta say, i can’t believe this vlog was 40 mins long. it was very enjoyable and i love the little bathroom self development snippets. laughed so hard at “am i channeling my old self or am i just being outdated you know what i mean” probably the most self aware phrase i’ve ever heard

Xenia, Please just know, you are important to us & so many others who are addicted to your smile & your joie de vivre. I personally wouldn’t want a relationship with those phony people. They are the ones who are effed up with inferior values, not you. ❓ Would you ever consider saying to that guy who said he was saving the table for his friends,- “I understand, but I am here with my 2 friends (you gesture to them) & I am just grabbing a quick bite & going back on the slope. So don’t worry so much (like you are giving him good life advice). I’m sure it won’t be a problem.” Then eat & chat with the 2 people you knew and get back to skiing. There is always a way to disengage with that type of behavior with polite but firm dignity. (Never aggressive or passive aggressive) I really hope you read this.

You just beamed happiness on the slopes, and I hope that is the memory you will carry with you from that experience now that you're back home. It's the same in all industries unfortunately. I'm in a different industry and older than you, and face the same bullsh*t. I started content creating when I moved to the city almost 10 years ago and was too shy to reach out to other creators because of this same reason. When I reached out to a creator that was coming up that lives in my neighborhood, I got the catty vibe that I was afraid I would get....and It hindered me in wanting to continue in the path of creating content and stick to a job that doesn't fulfill me. I shared this because I appreciate your vulnerability and your honesty. Don't ever change
