I started using the L’Oréal tinted balm a few weeks ago.....👍👍👍I absolutely love love it. I put it on with a makeup sponge after I moisturize. It covers really well. I’m 79 and have tried thousands of foundations! Liquid foundation seems to settle in wrinkles and pores. The L’Oréal is a win win for me! 👍😁

Is it sweat proof? It's definitely more challenging when you start aging to find foundations that don't sink into fine lines and end up making you look older than you are.

I have pretty dry, sensitive skin and rosacea and it does not cling to dry areas but I do moisturize before applying and I like how it evens out my redness. I’m 43 with normal skin and this foundation is my holy grail! I don’t need much coverage, but it evens out my skin tone perfectly and looks like absolutely nothing on my skin, even up close! I set it with a light dusting of By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder and it lasts all day for me. It does wear off a bit, but it wears off so seamlessly that you can’t see any patches or caking anywhere. I prefer this over all of my high-end foundations. I even use a slightly lighter shade under my eyes as concealer and my undereyes have never looked better.
Ally, try setting it with the By Terry. It seems to be a perfect combination.

I’ve been interested in the Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder but hesitant because of the price. I have tried MAC , bare minerals, it cosmetics & even Charlotte Tilbury powder foundation’s/bronzers but non of them did expect what I wanted. I’ve also tried almost every wrinkle/pore blurring powder, primer & line corrector but nothing. I don’t know maybe I’m not applying them correctly I don’t know. I’m only 38 but lived in the sun/tanning beds since I was in high school. I also have 4 little ones ON TOP OF the stress of being in a 11 year very toxic/abusive relationship THANKFULLY I AM NOW OUT OF AS OF A COUPLE DAYS AGO. It amazes me what stress does to our bodies. Never in my life growing up did I ever have problems with uneven skin color/texture, acne, large pores NOTHING. Know at 38 years old I have ALL OF THE ABOVE AND THE 11 LINES BETWEEN MY EYEBROWS ARE THERE. I would these past couple of years has been when I really started noticing them but now facial expression or not I SEE THEM. I would love to get Botox but unfortunately due to everything going on I probably won’t be able to do any self care for a long while (BUT ITS WORTH MY BABIES AND I AWAY FROM THE CRAZINESS & TOXIC HOUSEHOLD) Long post short if you have any recommendations or tricks for the 11 lines/forehead wrinkles PLEASE SHARE THEM!

I used this foundation for an wedding event. I wanted to focus more on my eyes makeup and look the more natural as possible on the skin. Over the years I Iearned to invest more on my skin care and finally got to the point that I don't need much full coverage anymore. My skin was flawless and everyone in that fancy party event was asking me what I used on my skin. I was proud to say that it wasn't because I was using a high end or special event foundation, it was because I created a good and healthy skin care routine/habit. Yes!!! The quality of a product on a makeup can be seen, but I am a believer that there are good affordable makeup products as good a this expensive ones. I don't waste my money on expensive makeup products anymore., but on skin care is another subject lol

When I first tried this foundation (age 55, normal skin with T zone oil) I HATED it. But everyone in my demographic was in love, so I decided to keep trying. Have found it to be neck and neck with my Loreal True Match Nude Serum foundation for my #1 everyday wear. I do use a silicone primer and on hot days I use a setting powder in the t zone. It can sometimes take a hot sec to dry down, but it is really lovely on textured mature skin, and feels weightless. End of day it wears off 'graciously', not in patches. I also apply it with a dense brush and buff it in. Anyway, my 2 cents!

@@MissEMc2 I definitely used too much the first time… and used my fingers. When I tried it next, I used a stiffer complexion brush and just dipped it into the balm a few times, then pounced it on in one area at a time, then buffed it in. I never swiped it if that makes sense. I think it works best as a sheer tint type foundation. It takes awhile to dry down… even after I’ve lightly set it. But the final finish is do natural and wears naturally as the day goes on. I prefer sheer to light coverage, mostly to even out tone and hydrate without looking too dewy. I’m playing with it as a concealer as well, adding it strategically in area I want more coverage. Hope that helps a bit. 😊

I can apply this stuff in a pretty careless way and not be precise with application and it works. I think that is why it serves a purpose in my makeup bag. If I get too sweaty, I can reapply with some of this and then set it down and it doesn’t matter what I had on underneath (full face of makeup prior to sweat, lol!) I can also use it to spot conceal and just let it dry down for a natural finish. Even the cheap essence banana setting powder works over top so for me the “benefit” is it’s not a finicky makeup.

It is less expensive at Walmart, $11, than anywhere else. Drug stores really jacked up the price as usual.
Allie, I’d suggest prepping your skin as you normally would for foundations but using your fingers to initially apply it so you keep as much coverage and blend it seamlessly then go back over with a brush or sponge. Because it is such a light formula, using a brush or sponge initially will just soak up most the product, giving you poor uneven coverage. I’d love to see you review this when you prep your skin and use a primer then apply with your fingers as they suggest. I bet you will like it a lot better.💕I thought you would really like this one, but I also thought you’d use your normal routine of moisturizing and using a primer. If you don’t review it again, can you at least update us once you use it in your normal routine? I’m just curious If your thoughts will change at all or not. It does say 4 in 1 so I see why you went right in with it. I swear this is their True Match Roller Foundation they had like 20 years ago but just repackaged. That stuff was bomb, no pun intended, and they made the first beauty blender using that mini paint roller that actually worked really well for the formula.
