Sis. After I had a stroke, I got braids because I was having such a hard time doing my hair. My left hand and arms were greatly affected, and my left side was my dominant side. I had the beautician take my braids out,washed my hair and it became SO TANGLED I COULDN’T COMB IT. I came to the realization that it had to be cut. I had shoulder length hair. I had it cut down to a micro mini Afro. I previously had a relaxer. I cut my hair off and became natural at the same time. It was an adjustment, and it was also one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Sis. After I had a stroke, I got braids because I was having such a hard time doing my hair. My left hand and arms were greatly affected, and my left side was my dominant side.
I had the beautician take my braids out,washed my hair and it became SO TANGLED I COULDN’T COMB IT. I came to the realization that it had to be cut. I had shoulder length hair. I had it cut down to a micro mini Afro. I previously had a relaxer. I cut my hair off and became natural at the same time. It was an adjustment, and it was also one of the best decisions I’ve made.
