  • This video is about getting sick. It's not as bad as my last hospital video, but it was a frustrating experience. I am over the sickness now, but it was annoying to be sick out of nowhere and wanting to record, so I just made a video about getting sick. I'm very smart.
I have two more videos this year minimum so I hope you enjoy
    Thank you for watching.

I was listening to his story and apparently this is a pretty bad issue going on right now. I was having some pretty rough gut pain and for a few weeks I couldn't really eat anything without throwing up. I went to 4 separate doctors, all of which said different and ultimately WRONG things until I got so weak, so bedridden, and threw up so often that my family took me to the emergency room. Turns out I have Ulcerative Colitis and if I hadn't gone to the doctor when I did it was very likely my intestines could have ruptured. Yayyyyyyyyyy.....

I watched this video INTENSLY once your symptoms started matching up with mine. Then all the doctor visits matched to a T. Your MRI came back the same as mine (I also remarked to my doctor how I thought my brain was a little more than "unremarkable") and I got a little excited. I thought you were finally going to reveal a why I had the tingling (and how you found out) that I also spent thousands of dollars on doctors, tests, and physical therapy. NOPE, you never found out, I never did either, and you probably sometimes wonder if it'll ever come back and you have to start the process again. I like your videos tho, you're rad.
Edit: It's June now, about 5 months since I originally saw this video, and about 4 months since I had onset of tachycardia and upper extremity paresthesia, along with the return of the symptoms I originally commented about. After more thousands of dollars for cardiologists, nerve conduction studies, ect... again no idea. I did go to a sports doc who recommended me trying physical therapy again, and it turns out I have thoracic outlet syndrome affecting my left arm. So when I get into certain positions the blood flow is completely cut off to my left arm. This test was super easy, physical therapist took my left wrist pulse, had me look to the right, pulse stopped.
So all in all, my fight continues, but I have at least one answer for some of the numbness and tingling. Thanks to everyone else for their support and suggestions.

    • @nayther567
      @nayther567 Pƙed rokem +43

Same for me but I have the symptoms in the legs. It would occur every few months and after a week of tingling it'd become this severe piercing/burning pain for 10 minutes before going away entirely for another few months. It lasted longer one time and had a numb foot for a couple weeks after which helped raising this issue at the doctors as they could finally see that something is wrong and not just a sensation. Waited months for MRI on legs and spine and EMG on legs to find it all clear. They said to just exercise more and get up more during work which is sedentary. Started working from the office, walking to work and getting up at least once every 2 hours; no more symptoms. But they did put down Common Peroneal Neuropathy in my medical files i.e. nerve damage in knee area, even if nothing showed up on MRI. Also a bonus: I too have ADHD.
For all the wonder of modern medicine; take care of yourself with good food, good hygiene, and stretching.

Am going through the same thing. Only mine is GI issues however I developed tingling in my limbs. They wanted me to do the exact same thing. I didn’t go as I was already in debt. Only to find out after getting very ill and thirsty realizing I’m probably diabetic which is something I’ve told and explained to doctors as it’s common in my family on both sides. Then rushing to my pcp and they took a blood test because I insisted I was diabetic. My mother is a diabetic and after extreme thirst that nothing was helping, ice cubes didn’t give me goosebumps,or were sensitive on my teeth I knew it was something up. My mom checked since she’s a diabetic and yup high numbers. So the doctors took more blood from me and I’m now a pre diabetic. My entire life has changed and it’s only been a few days.

I'm also an artist and I too experienced tingling sensations in my arms at one point in my career.
It might not be yours but in my case it was because since I would draw so much, my posture would suffer from it, especially my cervical, which connects a lot of nerves through your arms. The cervical stress was therefore stressing and pinching my arm nerves!

I’m well enough now to be functional at the most basic level so that’s a plus I guess. I think the worst part is never knowing. It’s always like “we think it’s this” and they do some tests and then “nope it’s not that.” At this point they’re just treating symptoms and I’ve kind of given up hope on finding a diagnosis and treatment for said diagnosis.

Literally. I was misdiagnosed with ibs since I was 11, and then only when I finally went to a gastro doctor at 22 for a separate problem (acid reflux) did they finally go, "huh, your symptoms don't line up with it." Did some tests, inflammation, which definitely doesn't happen with ibs. Then they did a colonoscopy and I was finally diagnosed with ulcerative colitis! Sadly the prep for the colonoscopy, plus the colonoscopy itself, in combo with how fragile my system must have been, caused a HUGE flare up that landed me in the hospital.. so that's fun. But at least it put me on the road to treatment. Although, when the hospital sent me home they told me "just take tylenol" for the pain, even though I was given dilaudid (a pain reliever stronger than morphine) in the hospital until then. I'm still bitter about that xP But of course the opioid crisis made it hard to give it to me even though I've never taken it before, never had a history of addiction, and actually needed it. And calling my PCP they told me they "don't do that" when I asked about prescribing any sort of pain meds. Literally didn't care what, just wanted something stronger than tylenol. ugh
Sorry, ranted. This subject just gets me going. Healthcare system is so fucked.

Thing is, insurance companies are the ones paying out, so they’re really sensitive about people possibly taking advantage of them. When it’s your money, you’re more careful. They have to make sure your doctor is legitimate, your pain is legitimate, everything has to be proven real before they give you a penny. Double all the red tape if your insurance is through Uncle Sam, because they don’t want to pay for you, they just want you paying into their system. Double all the red tape after that if you’re wanting drugs, because that’s super-abused and some people will absolutely take a prescription to multiple places and get it filled multiple times if they can.

I hope you're better now, since it's been a month since this video was released!
I relate to that but in a different way. Recently (more like for the past several months), I've had chronic back pain. I'll spare you the details of the symptoms, but the main thing is that if I sit down, bend down, or crouch for too long, it could flare up in agonizing pain (especially occurred when I was crouching). So I was told by the doctor it was probably a sprained muscle, and it has been getting a bit better, but I still have residual effects. It hasn't flared up in a while so I'm thinking it might be getting better? But I'm not sure. Some days it hurts more than others. But yeah. Sometimes time is the best care. But still, having checked the doctor is definitely better than not checking with them. For all we knew, it could've been damaged nerves or some other super bad thing like a slipped disk (for those who don't know, it's a spine thing but basically it's when your spinal bones no longer have a cushion between them and now are grinding against each other). I'm just glad that it was likely neither.
Anyways, sorry for the ramble. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

This is what almost always happens when I go to doctors and vets. "What's the problem?" "I'm/my cat's having these symptoms." "We don't know. Wanna try the diagnostic thing?" "Okay. Here's hundreds of dollars." "It didn't tell us anything. We don't know." I still don't know anything.

I’ve had this issue before of everything feeling like static. I got a chiropractic adjustment and it was fixed. Could have been a pinched nerve or something like that and it ended up sorting itself out. Would recommend a better posture and working out as that helps with stuff like that.

That’s actually what I’m going through right now. Being diabetic is a symptom of that. Doctors still are making me to all these other tests. However the other day I had really high blood sugar. Being diabetic is very normal in my family so I kinda thought it was that. I had extreme thirst to the point nothing was doing it for me. My mother who I still live with (I’m 23) is a diabetic so she got a clean needle and checked my blood sugar. I was 164 which is very high for a non diabetic. Went to the doctors because like my upper abdomen pain and kidneys hurting with this high blood sugar with a fasting status (I didn’t eat for almost 12 hours and my blood sugar was still this high) is a bad bad sign. Pancreatitis is a thing you can get. Found out I’m pre diabetic with a simple blood test. Now after months and months after all this testing and whatnot I get an answer that explains almost everything I’ve been going through. I even had told the doctors is it diabetics?? I’ve seen 20 doctors. Not a joke. But they still want me to do more testing and whatnot.

Thats why its called seasonal flu, its the moment where the body is adapting to seasonal changes, that lowers our inmune response and flu starts spreading, so be sure that the youngers and the oldests take their vax against seasonal flu (yeah, we gotta vaccinate 1-2 times a year because this virus mutates too much and vaccines have to be readapted)

Tingling in the hands/feet, arms/legs can be a vitamin b deficiency, a blood sugar issue, early sign of diabetes or an inflammation issue.
I had the same symptoms and found I had a vitamin b deficiency and had a genetic defect that makes my inflammation response a lot higher. I started taking vitamin b6 and b12, started avoiding foods that gave me inflammatory responses like gluten, dairy or junk food. I also started adding spices like turmeric, ginger, and black pepper (black pepper helps your body use turmeric better) to some of my foods to bring down the inflammation.
