- This is what happens when you mistakenly think a landmark tells you you're where you want to be , when you're not. I was heading for a car park adjacent to a lake and there is a left turn into it. I kinda thought this was it. My satnav was right! (This is an old video from 12 months ago, before I got my new crash helmet)

Nice one Ray, I’ve always liked the way though that you do more adventure touring than those on ‘adventure’ bikes do in their lifetime, without the extras like traction control/sos buttons/hill start etc. Keep it up buddy and enjoy those little mishaps👍
I might try an off road session at motorcycle live. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was thinking of doing something similar. How’s the shoulder is it getting better?
@@David_Gardener fair ter middling.. 😂😂😂😂
Feel your pain Ray. Always a concern when on your own in conditions like that as not easy to pick a large bike up on your own should the worse happen. Not much passing traffic to help out.
I was peed off within ten yards of leaving the main road.. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@rayjones4115 Yes I would have been just the same.
Ahh, the joys of sat nav🤔. What gets me is that one minute it will take you down a dirt track and, 15 minutes later it will get you on the best road on the planet! By the way, I watched you and your mates riding the Hardknot Pass a couple of days ago, WTF was going on with you all? It's only a road, stopping on corners, on the steepest bits and, feet down on the really tight downhill right hander? If you are on a heavy bike, put it in rain mode and do the whole thing in 1st gear, easy. In case you are wondering I ride a BMW R1250RS and have done it both ways a number of times this year, dead easy? 😆.
😂😂😂😂 I don't have modes on my bike, apart from go and stop. My brain has all the modes.. "yeah I can do that", "no I can't do that" 😂😂😂😂😂
