As far as advertising goes, I mainly use Facebook and google ads on my google my business page. Word of mouth sales will get you rocking and rolling in the beginning but it becomes stagnant after a while.
I see most people install their “Y” strainer wrong. It should be installed in a downward position this way gravity helps all dirt and solids to fall into the strainer. You won’t catch any debris or dirt with the way it’s installed on your set up, the dirt is gonna go right by and into your pump.
I understand what your saying, however the strainer protrudes all the way through the body of the filter. Water has no choice but the pass through the 100mesh filter. I clean this prior to every operation, never had an issue. I also run filters on my water hose reels so the trash that actually gets into my tank is minimal. This video was made prior to ever using it. It has since been turned over on its side, as it is on my flat bed as well. Both work well. Thanks for the input though brother! Very good point!

I really like the setup bro…the layout is simple and spacious. I am just starting to acquire equipment. What size trailer are you using for this setup?
Hey man nive video. I have my gas tank setup similar to yours except it sits a bit higher. Did you have any issues on it getting hot from the exhaust? Mine seems to get pretty hot.
Mine doesn’t get hot. It’s spaced about 8” away from the muffle and it’s also mounted directly to the floor of the trailer. So there’s a decent distance between it and the muffler. I haven’t had any issues
If you are getting into washing it's a good idea to build everything yourself instead of buying it from southeast softwash or any other store. It will help you to fix everything if you go down in the field. If anyone wants to see pictures of a trailer where I built everything except water tanks I can send them
Since this was about a year ago now, the prices aren’t spot on, but this will be close. I bought the pressure washer assemblied. Done by Zak Kimmerling. He is with North Georgia Airless now. Reach out to zak on Facebook or call north Georgia airless and ask for him! The 8gpm will run you 3200-4000 depending on what motor you run. Hose reels are about $450 a piece. (When I built the trailer) not sure what they are now. I’ve got about 500 in all the hoses 550 for the soft wash proportioner $150/ea on tool boxes. All together I had less than 7500 in the trailer when I built it. I already had the trailer though. You could mirror this build for close to same price. Give or take
@@hrpressurewashing5942 I greatly appreciate this information, it's hard to find all the items for a good startup so I can get my budget analysis going to see if it's cost effective for my area and how long it will take me to start cash flowing.
I actually really like the predator engines. With proper maintenance I have never had one fail. Where did you get the pressure washer setup with the predator?
Heck yeah, I prefer 1/2” whip line and the first 50ft 1/2” . I have it set up with a 50ft whip line now, to get the heavy hose off my reel. So it’s 50ft of 1/2” whipline coiled up with multiple ties to keep it together and to save space, and then 200ft of 3/8

Looking for Insight and advice. I've been watching a lot of SoftWash videos over the last week, and I've got a glimmer of hope but I'm noticing many of the youtuber's have affiliate links, and or sell cleaners/chemicals/products, or systems, and I'm wondering if a Starter Upper can make money with the Actual Soft Washing of houses, or is the money coming from selling systems, chemicals, and youtube ads. I just would hate to invest into a truck, a system, and a year or two of my life for something that doesn't manifest into actual money and a career, I'd hate to put my loves ones and myself through that. I'm looking for honest answer from someone in the know. Thank you and I appreciate it.
100%. Obviously yes, the companies that are selling the products as in surfactants and equipment have to make money as well. You can’t clean efficiently or at all with water alone. Water doesn’t kill anything. And high pressure on surfaces aside from brick and concrete is not suitable. Personally, this is not my full time job due to having a good career that gives me time to run my business. However, it’s not all that hard to clear 6 figures a year Washing. It’s doable, easily. Spend the money in the right places. You could build this entire set up I built for less than 10k. (Inflation has driven the price of this build up) Or buy a skid from Coty at SESW and you will be just as happy with that purchase. They make jam up equipment. Bet on yourself. It’s worth it.

What a bunch of waste of time and money . All you needed was no van 4,000 PSI bigger pressure washer 50 gallon container for overflow water in case the pressure from the water hose is not strong enough . And all the attachment accessories to a 3/8 to a 1/4 hose and mini reels. And with this setup and you can also add on too many real hoses for cleaning sewer pipes to downspouts .
