- Here's a brief tutorial of how to connect and use both Android Auto & Apple Carplay on the brand new Toyota Vios , Toyota Yaris 2020/2021 Facelift model with new 7" infortainment system unit.
NOTE: I tried another older Android Version 8 and 9 phones, it does work automatically. Don't know what's wrong with my old phone. So yea.....

Thanks for this video. My Samsung Galaxy S8+ stopped updates last year at Android9. Had to google search to find the apps.. installed and can use. Question on Waze.. after I connect the phone I can't seem to find my saved locations (ie. the favourites) - is that normal?

What about USB thumb drive directly or Bluetooth connectivity so can listen music... Most other video did not mention this as well as the details of the sound systems for yaris gr and vios grs... Please try it as well

Everything setting in my phone is fine, but plug in my CROSS, using a different cable (both ORI and not ORI), still can’t detect CarPlay.

Android Auto, is service that built-in in all android phone, just a background service, so once u connect it will Auto show up. 😀

Yup. Once connected, waze/google map will show on screen until you turn it off.

Im sorry, i dont know what is gogolink 😅 but bluetooth no issue connecting. If you connected once, turn on bluetooth on your phone first then start the car.

U can play wirelessly if connect and play via Bluetooth. If you connect with wire it becomes Android Auto/Apple Carplay. 👍

android version brapa bang? kalau dh android 10 ke atas masa beli tu confirm dh ada android auto. kalau version lower than 10, mcm android 9, android 8 dan sebagai nya kena sideload download android auto kat hp.

Unfortunately cannot, unless you have a Type C converter, or use the previous iPhone cable. Hope that helps 😉

I tried looking for it, unfortunately its not there. I guess they only want you to listen music n access maps while driving.
@@im_jrsong i think so as well. Lol. But you know, would be easier if I can make calls by just accessing siri. My old car had a button that looks like an outline of a head with sound waves coming out of it’s mouth that activates siri when connected to carplay. I thought this comes as standard for most cars with carplay. I guess not this one. But thanks for checking though!

Bro, how when you use the signal? It still show 360 camera?
When you turn on the signal, the screen will turn on the camera of which side you signal. Very useful feature.

Not working on Vios 2021xle
Using XR but it keep getting disconnected after about 5mins....does anyone have the same problem? My car is Yaris G 2021.
Im using iphone13 and it disconnects very frequent and sometimes hang all the way. Any reasons?
Me also using ip13pm after 5mins disconnected.. but using my old ip7 12h driving jb to kelantan never disconnected… pelikk kan
@@hafizulfikri4537 I had no problem using with my iPhone 11 in the past. Recently upgraded to iPhone 14, now it auto-disconnects after 1-2 mins. I don't know the reason why. Is it because of iOS version? Do you manage to find the solution for this issue? I am so frustrated.

First unlock your phone, second plug in cable, third wait long long until phone shows Android Auto screen, follow the steps and its good to go 👍

Cable you will get AndroidAuto and Apple Carplay on screen, no need touch phone for functions.
Actually for android waze part, I think you can clicks the 🏠 home button to return back to waze main page. No need put the fake report 😅
