I've only went to two conventions to sell so far, and yet I have a lot more to learn! And your videos are my go-to for tips for artist alleys.
Aww!! That's so sweet thank you!
Thanks for this remake, I've learnt a lot from your artist alley videos and I hope I can apply all this info if i table at a con very soon!
I'm glad to hear that!! Good luck!!
Aaaa what helpful tips. You seemed to have learned alot from your touring aaaa 💖
Glad to see you're buzzing with advice~ cant wait to see your next video.
Thank you sweetie 💕💕
Yaaas fanart vs originals! Looking forward to that. Great video.
Thank you!!
I'm watching your vid via headphones and there's some sort of wind blowing into your mic which made it really hard for me to listen. But your tips are very useful!
Yeah sorry that's the air conditioner xD I'm really sorry!!
Thank you so much for this video. I've watched it like 3 times already. I can't wait for your reboots of the other videos and continuing the series. I think if you are concerned about your large size prints you might want to consider getting one printed at the size you want to print at and think about analyzing the areas of your artwork that could need to be revised to make it more suitable for the size you like. This is not a selling tip. It's just an idea of treating your smaller size print as a sketch/thumbnail for the bigger size print with more details
I'm glad you found the video helpful! And that's a pretty good idea :3 I just don't have easy access to a large scale printer haha XD maybe one day!
+Kiwiji is it possible to print your work in sections to tape together for a bigger one? Just brainstorming alternatives.
Probably :3 That's quite a bit of hassle haha XD I'm at a point in my life where I'm kinda aware of the size of A3 automatically and have a grasp of the size and plus I have examples all over the room. I'm just saying sometimes it might surprise you X3
So much great advice in this video!! Super-informative and very clear, you did an awesome job with this one! All your passion for cons just radiates through these vlogs, and it’s a joy to watch
Thanks Kamo X3 I'm really happy with that intro!
This was so helpful!! Thank you so much, I’m hoping to do conventions next year so I hope I see you at a few! 💕
Hope to see you too! I'm glad it was helpful~
gosh you’re so cute this made my whole day thank you
Oh gosh aaaaaaah thank you!! 💕
I need that garrus print!!
Thank you for the update :)
I really loved this video, it was super helpful since my first convention comes in 2 weeks! 😊 I was wondering if you can make a video about what products you should/could bring to a con to sell? I have like 3-4 ideas to sell my stuff (these are the things I can afford), and I feel like I run out of my ideas >< Thank you so much!!
Aah I'm glad this video is helpful! But I think I've already covered a lot of basic products in this video so prints, stickers, bookmarks, there's never products you HAVE to bring to con and these are things that are easily made and doesn't require extra shipping and cost like say acrylic charms
That's right, thank you! Yes, I wanted to order acrylic charms as well but they are a bit pricey for someone who just started >< So yeah, I learned a lot from this video, and I'm excited for all your upcoming content! ^^
Great videos, have been watching many of your videos and it inspires me to do my first convention, probably next year in SG. Anyway, 1 question. How well do art/sketch books (like an A5 size of over 20+ artwork in a book) and how many should these generally be printed? Thanks and keep on making these great videos!
Hello hello! Thank you for watching my videos~ I don't have much experiences with art books they can be quite a lot of effort to put together but I have friends who do them and they do fairly well? I would say the middle ground? When making new merchandise in general it's better to sell out then to have leftovers so I say be cautious and print say 5-10 as a testing ground :3
Like ur posters :3
Thanks xD but the credit goes to the artists that made the prints!
Link doesn’t work anymore ):
Late late reply I apologize, but the facebook group that used to host that massive list underwent some changes and now uses the 'Recommended' tool on Facebook. I've updated the video description and I say that give the Recommended section of the group a look, its a huge compilation of different conventions to try and services to print merchandise at!
