The relatives of Alisha Phillip visited Ian at his studio and spoke about Alisha’s tragic death

The relatives of Alisha Rihanna Phillip whose body was found at Temple Village, Blanchisseuse Road in Arima on Monday 02nd October, 2023, visited Ian at his studio and spoke about Alisha’s tragic death.
Almost 7 months later, DNA results confirmed that the decomposed, nude body of a woman, was that of 23-year-old Alisha Phillip.
• Phillip, of Sangre Grande was reported missing on Thursday 28th September 2023.
• Phillip was reportedly identified by a chain found near the decomposing body and DNA samples were tested to confirm such.
On Monday 02nd October, 2023: around 12:50pm, a farmer was on his way to the Mahase farm on the Blanchisseuse Old Road, when he got a foul stench.
• The man, made checks when he stumbled upon two feet protruding out of some bushes.
• He contacted the police and officers of the Arima CID and investigators from the homicide bureau of Investigations Region II visited the scene and discovered the woman’s nude body.
