Here because I was Googling information on a concert I went to in 1997. I was under the recollection that it was Beck and The Cardigans, but apparently this band came on before the Cardigans. I do not remember that part of the show but man what a night.

Back in 1999 when I was 16, I popped this CD into my CD-ROM and was assaulted by a Quiktime file of this video. I watched this video so many fucking times I had to buy not one, not two, not three, but SIX different copies of 60 Second Wipe Out. saw someone compare wargasm to atari teenage riot, name sounded familiar, i googled and immediately recognized this song name and got transported back to high school omg (i love that my taste in music is just warping back to what it was at 16 now that im almost 30 lmao)
I just had a catchy tune and wanted to listen again. I thought that was so cool, innovative and meaningful at the time. now it's just embarrassing with pseudo-claim
One of the funniest things I ever saw was an "Atari Teenage Riot" concert in the Melkweg in Amsterdam late nineties probably 1998, in the second room Adam Beyer (at his absolute techno prime) was killing it; I was there to see Beyer. Beyer was playing until 5 or 6 am so once "Atari Teenage Riot" finished the crowd moved across to Beyer. The look of astonishment on their faces as he rearranged everything they thought they knew about hardcore electronic music was priceless; no quarter given, he fucked that room up gloriously.
TF are you on about? Beyer was always straight up big-room conservative kinda techno. If anything, it was ATR who was rearranging people's idea of electronic music at the time. People probably were simply astonished at how fucking boring he was.
I so Happy to found the Gemany verison for the teletubies, sorry by the Joke , seariours amazing song unforgettable, i'm so glad to be a part of that generation.
Espero que muchos se hayan dado cuenta que Beastie Boys y The Chemical Brother's se inspiraron en esta indestructible y legendaria banda a quien por cierto tuve el privilegio de verlos tocar en el Club Limelight de NYC
what did the robotmaiden say? It sounded like "perhaps you're hungry. Having nothing between the face in your head and inside your rectum are indeed feelings of hollowness" LOL

This is the real cyberpunk sound. A true electric sound revolution.
'Cyberpunk' wasn't even 'invented' when this first came out... Don't try to put it in a certain box, ATR is basically a genre in it's own right!💖💖

I love music videos that insert stuff into the middle of the song that aren't on the album. Like Aphex Twin's Come to Daddy Video
absolutely
its legit just to stop people from straight ripping the video
especially if it adds to the video's narrative
I’ve had a riff stuck in my head for months now and I couldn’t remember where it was from until now. God bless you good sir
THIS is real cyberpunk.
This is exactly Digital Hardcore in fact.
