You probably have a solution for the blades since this video is older but just thought I would add two cents. These blades can be sharpened at least one time. You can use a knife sharpener or even a sanding block! Thanks for so freely sharing your techniques and layouts with us.
Love these tutorials 💝 I hear you on the blades...and same problem, but best trimmer. I noticed that they go fast when using thick stock, so maybe keep a blade for thicker stock and another for thinner papers. Have not yet put this in practice as once i start i keep going 🤣
I have an extra trimmer, use the new for paper and the old one for chipboard ( old one labeled for chipboard) then when the blades on the new one gets dull I put it on the chipboard cutter (or save until its no good then replace it) because they will work on the old one to cut chipboard for while longer, chipboard ruins blades a whole lot fast. Just a tip.
I have the same trimmer. I’m constantly ordering blades, but I do have my husband file them for me to last a little longer once they go dull. It works for a while longer. By the way I love your tutorials. I’ve learned so much. Always anticipating your next mini ❤️ty so much
Love the diagonal cut pockets! I will definitely use those in my next album! Stampin' Up! just came out with a new trimmer that includes a scoring blade. I love it and it's very reasonably priced. Replacement blades are also reasonable, but I haven't had to replace any yet. Thanks for a great tutorial! Love, love. love your work!
Wooooow Rosa!! You are absolutely talented and the queen of album's. I love your tutorials. Eres la mejor asiendo albunes y la mejor inspiration. Me encanta tu travajo,Tus creasiones y la forma tan dulce d enseñar. Inspiras mucha paz. Gracias por compartir tu talento con nosotras. You are the BEST ALL THE WAY
Wanda Medina gracias Wanda... I read the message and just now hit me is in English and Spanish 😂 Thank you so much for being part of the channel. Besos!!
Again.... an awesome tutorial... THANK YOU for sharing your gift !!!!!! I too was getting very frustrated with having to change my blades so often. Well...here’s a tip I found on a Kathryn Scraps video that actually works!! When you put in a new blade mark one side with and “x” ( I mark it with a permanent marker). When you cut anything on your trimmer, move the blade only in that one direction. For example, I cut everything toward the swinging ? arm on the trimmer. I always cut with the swing arm at the top. When the blade starts cutting yucky, I switch the blade to the other side and continue to cut in only that one direction. It worked for me...hopefully it helps you too !!! Here’s the video info.. Rosa, I’m absolutely loving this album! This is going to be my first one! I did practice on a small album but, you make it so easy to follow! I’m so glad I found your channel! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work!
Have you tried to sharpen the blade with tin foil just run foil through your cutter a few times and it should sharpen it hopes this helps lovely pocket album made mine along with you Tfs have a blessed day Nicole UK
Great pocket pages. Pretty too! :) tyfs! Others save one "old blade" for the heavy cardstock, and use new one for design paper / lighter stuff. The titanium ones are supposedly better too? Have you tried the (same size) self sharpening rotary cutter one?
Sheila Blair I do that with my blades too, and I keep the super old ones for chipboard...I have to look into the self sharpening cutter, thanks for the tip!
Deborah, I hope you don't mind me answering the question. Rosa, still has to decorate the inside and the outside of the album so, there should be a 3rd tutorial.
Hi Rosa, I love this tutorial partly because I have the Lavender Frost Paper Pad...can hardly wait for part 3...I would really like to know how you do an envelope water fall, can you show us? have you tried Amazon for the trimmer blades?...Ann in Canada
WoW! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this tutorial. Just curious as to how you add the pages into the binder part? Or have you shown that idea in another one of your videos?
RosaKellyScrapbooking it’s coming out beautifully. I’m making it for my aunt who’s been traveling to some tropical areas. So I choose a water/beach theme. Tfs and responding so quickly. Have a blessed day.

Esta quedando precioso, me encantas esos papeles, gracias por el tutorial, un abrazo!!!
Thank you for taking the time to do this😊😄☺️
This is wonderful, your ideas are great. I go through blades fast too
The titanium blades cost a lil more but seem to last longer. You can use a coupon at Michaels or JoAnn’s.
This is an awesome album! Love it!!
So amazing. I love it ❤️💛💚💙🧡❤️
Love it! My blades don't last long either.
This is so beautiful!
Rosa, нет слов...вы волшебница!
Thank you for taking the time to this😊☺️😚kai
I also have such a cutting machine. Unfortunately here the same problem with the blades but it is so pleasant to use and cleans up easily and quickly

Love the different pockets you have in this album. The paper is beautiful. Is there a tutorial 3?
Deborah, I hope you don't mind me answering the question. Rosa, still has to decorate the inside and the outside of the album so, there should be a 3rd tutorial.
Yes! Part 3 is up already. I usually post as I make the videos 😂 I’m super backwards 🤷🏻♀️
Love your creations! Have you tried the Cutterpillar? You never have to replace the blades! They come in different sizes too. Thank you for sharing.

Elmeda Gemes this one czcams.com/video/KTndv5Xuqrs/video.html I did a tutorial as well 😊
WoW! Beautiful!
Thanks for sharing this tutorial.
Just curious as to how you add the pages into the binder part?
Or have you shown that idea in another one of your videos?
Joyce Dyck yes is part 3 I think 😊
Come si chiama la serie di carta usata? Grazie.. Bellissimo progetto
Rosa, page 4 , if I’m doing this correctly, add up to 9 1/2” pocket space when the base is only 8 3/4. Do I have the pockets wrong?
I scored the wrong side.
Evelyn Vasquez hope it worked out! Let me know if you have any questions 😊

Jocleta Mclaughlin yes 110 lb 😊
Will there be a part 3? thanks
