    Chase is going to break the single-season yardage record this year

      I don’t think so. He’ll have some breakout games but with this new line Burrow won’t have to target him so much as a last resort. I think the ball will touch everybody’s hands pretty evenly.

      I love the enthusiasm, and I expect big things from Chase this year too. But considering Moss is a better pass blocker I don’t see Chase getting those kind of numbers unless Moss gets injured. But I agree Chase is gonna do big things.

      Joe just has to stay healthy. Browning was a Dog last year.

    Agree with Malik. We’ve been talking about running the ball more efficiently since the Bob Bratkowski days. I like what we’ve done but I’ll have to see the run game improve before I get excited that it will change.

    Ossai has had very good flashes in obvious pass rush situations. He's made big plays in the playoffs.

    If you combine the fact that Hendrickson had his best year last year with our offense at half strength you could say our pass rush would have been twice as good with a healthy Burrow. The opposition would have been calling plays from behind more often knowing Burrow is coming back on the field when we get the ball back.

    The Bengals whole offense, check that, their whole season...comes down to 1 thing. Keeping Burrow healthy. Burrow gets hurt, you're a .500 team. Burrow stays healthy, you're a Super Bowl contender

    I know Joe said in his press conference he needs to learn to take it easy and skip reps if he feels the need to do so and not push through. I hope he follows the same method in the regular season. We seen what Jake Browning can do, he can win us games if it needs to be. Grab the ear piece if so Joe. A lot of stuff he pushed through since he’s been here was not do or die. Very confident of Joe in playoffs when it matters like all of the fan base.

    I think Tanner Hudson and Drew Sample is good depth behind Gesicki. We're not going to have 3 elite tight ends but Burrow has chemistry with Hudson.. I wouldn't flinch if Gesicki went down. As far as the DE room, few teams have more than one stud and if that stud goes down, they're hurting. That's true for most teams. Rankins should help the pass rush.

    • @tmartin8888
      @tmartin8888 Před 20 dny

      Honestly I think Tanner Hudson will need an injury to happen to another TE to make the roster. Sample and Gesicki are locks, as are both draft picks. T Hudson is turning 30 this season. It sucks because I think Tanner earned his spot, but the McLachlan pick means he’s going to be fighting for a roster spot and more than likely the odd man out. Agree the TE room is deep, but T Hudson might not make the 53.

      @@darylhoskins5696 So do I. I don't think he's CB1 material, but I'd say he's a quality CB2. I don't like going into another SB window season with a hodge podge assortment of DBs to fill in all DB work, including having so many slot guys, but no true CB 1, 3 or depth. They're going to be playing DB with no strong #1 guys anywhere at any spot. Stopping the air game by committee seems like a certain path to failure. This team is going to be heavily reliant on rushing the passer and if Myles Murphy doesn't take a huge leap and Rankins isn't a consistent disruptor, then they are putting a ton of pressure on an unknown and unproven DB room.

    The RB room analysis didn't make a whole lot of sense. Mixon got bounced because he sucks at pass protection and also they got tired of him going down easily to the first defender. Moss is the opposite in that he is above average pass protection and well above average in terms if being hard to bring down. He does give up some top end speed but the trade fits the offense.
