Your daughter is so lucky to grow up with traditional home-cooked meals and parents who are laughing and enjoying dinner together. ❤️❤️
Yes
@@TreasureForeverOfficial yeah but some ppl have a shitty family or can’t afford food or even have no parents or family living with them or living in general sorry that I made it sound dark and edgy of me saying that it’s just that some ppl aren’t that lucky
@@WarVeteran213 I very much agree, not everyone is lucky.
@@TreasureForeverOfficial aight hold up let me summon my father back from the dead first
@@TreasureForeverOfficial erm unfortunately not everyone has the funds to eat like this or even have a family that does things like this
imamu ending with " Thank you" and I was like "No, thank YOU."
my thought exactly!!!!
Yess! XD
Me too
Of course why wouldnt i 🤬💟💟💟💟
Their daughter has such a lovely baby laugh! It’s so precious!
I appreciate that you always curate your daughter's dish to her preference, when I was a kid I always got "eat what was made or starve" until I could cook for myself lol
Oh my same here
I don't think that she does it for everything. Mostly if it's going to be spicy or has alcohol in it. The daughter is a good eater, but like anyone else, she has some dislikes. I love how she gets the little quail eggs
I’m so happy I came across this Channel ☺️I’m loving every minute. I can’t wait to make some of these dishes at home
dont be a picky eater then
@@0ihatetrolls01 ....😐
I think it's just adorable how the little daughter's food is a miniature version of her parents
I love how simple the dishes are but have complex flavors. It's so inspiring when I get in a food rut and don't know what to make.
I love how there’s always soup in the dishes and the soup is always so rich in ingredients!
holy crap the bots on this channel copy and paste the comments and reply them on other peoples comments
The "you did it" from your daughter was so cute. She's such a supportive kid. Well done you
Me eating Taco Bell while watching this: I should probably cook more.
Same, friend. Same. 👀
Buying takeaways are a waste of money lol
Me eating a cake while watching this: I should probably make a list of the ingredients and write down the recipe
Hahaha cute
Jack in the box here
Who else here touched their earlobe to see how soft it is.
You know we all did 😬
Me 😬
me hehe
I did! 👂😊
Dude! All the time🙉🤏👂Quality checks are important☝ 🧐
I'm sobbing at how pure and wholesome this channel's videos are. And the place setting for baby!?! It's too precious! 😭🥰
I adore “fluffy corn soup” and I adore you!
Fluffy corn soup looked amazing.
@@delanamason715 Ik 🤤
Me too 😭😭 my partner and I have somehow collected 6 cans of cream style corn 😆😆
so im a naturally picky eater. (i have autism and it heightens my senses making my sense of taste more sensitive). but for some odd reason she makes me want to try new things and experement ^-^
that’s so amazing!! we’re rooting for you 🥰🥰
I hope you do try to experiment, and good luck! I grew up being a picky eater (not for any particular reason that I know of) but i noticed that cooking videos give me an appreciative perspective on foods i didn't like before. It's how I finally learned to love sushi for example. Another thing that really helps me feel less picky about food is REDUCING MY STRESS. I definitely feel like when I'm in a bad mood I'm less willing to put up with food I don't like very much.
Oh that’s so wonderful I hope one day can try these for your self!
I’m also picky, but she makes me want to eat her food so badly! It might be to do with the audio aspect, they all seem to have a definite satisfying texture. Plus they all seem to be fairly simple? I’m so desperate to try some of her fried food- in another video she makes fried rice balls and my mouth was watering!
same, but I try to avoid because each of every has a different taste like odd object like bean sprout taste like rubber but I try to more veggie than meat.
Imamu's videos are so good, they make me relax after a stressful day
Me either
Same (ू•ᴗ•ू❁)💜
last video i watched from her i was so relaxed i was falling asleep hehehe ~
I'm inspired by my cooking in a Japanese style because you have a balanced meal. Even though we don't have the same ingredients I put some which are grown here in our country. Thanks for your videos it helps me a lot!
I used to think that I can cook but watching her actually _cook_ made me realise I can only fry things 🤣
Ehh food is food, good enough
I love watching videos of people cooking just simple, homemade meals. It brings back memories of watching my dad cook in the kitchen when i was knee-high. He can't cook so much anymore and i live on my own, so i have been living vicariously through videos like this :3
Dinner conversation: iF yOu tOuChEd AlL tHe eArLoBeS
Also, your daughter chatting away in two languages is just precious!
Your daughter's full belly laugh at 5:40 is priceless. How could anyone hear that and not smile?! 🤣😊
The perfect end to a terrible week~ Thank you!
Sorry you had a bad week. I hope this weekend is a lot better for you!
@@FroggyPlays Thank you so much! I hope your weekend will be great too. :3
I also had a terrible week. Let’s look forward to a better future 💕
Hello!
If they’re available at your grocery store, refrigerated breakfast biscuits are good to make sugar donuts with.
My grandma would take the breakfast biscuits and fry them in oil then roll then in sugar. They are amazing. It’s also much easier than making bread!
Biscuits? Wait are you American by any chance?
@@Deme_Diora666 yep!
She is the kind of wife and mother I aspire to be some day. She looks like such a great homemaker, a vocation that's quickly going out of style. Her family is blessed to have her.
those hand torn dango Imamu said were a local cuisine in her grandmother's home region of Japan are very similar to what those of us living in the American midwest and American south call 'dumplings' - she even put them into chicken soup, which is traditional for us. it's amazing the way that different cultures discover similar flavors. if you've never made American dumplings in chicken stock, you should try it. it's really good, and it's easy as well 😊
Who needs restaurants when you prepare such lovely meals. Your family is lucky to have you!
I cant wait for you to make bento’s for your daughter🥺💖
Your daughter's laugh is infectious, your videos always make me smile, and very hungry!
She works so hard everyday to make her family amazing meals god bless that women
The food looks so yummy, but the little girl is so sweet. She just melts my heart!
"Make it as soft as an earlobe"
Me: Immediately touches my earlobe
Now just 499 to go!
I love your videos so much, they are so relaxing! It's beautiful how your family eats together. But I'm always wondering how you can come up with so many different meals every day! You basically never repeat your cooking ideas, this is so inspiring!
That katsu curry and the cabbage miso soup just both seem so delicious and comforting... yum!
This videos inspire me to be a better cook for my family
Is it just me? Or japanese really are one of the most health conscious people about the food they eat... Also have the most nice etiquette when it comes to eating...
They have to eat healthy soups with every meal to cancel out the fried food they eat with every meal
@@ginaj1814 yeah right... I wish I can do that... 😭
Fried food, processed food, enormous amount of sugar in sauce, lot of bread ( and sugar on top?) Wtf how is that healthy?
@@laureal3659 yeah, same. I was surprised with how unhealthy it was. I really didn't expect her to coat the bread with sugar like that. How does she eat like that and remain thin?!! Seems unfair lol
I swear, watching your content and hearing your daughter being so happy, it's hard to be anything but happy.~
I've been able to somewhat guess what she's making from the pics of the food before she shows us how she made it and I feel happy that I get it right sometimes. Japanese food looks so good I want to make it more often. I tried some recipes and my mom liked them a lot!
wakey wakey everyone it's time for your generous dose of serotonin this week :)
I lived in Japan a couple years ago and this is bringing back memories, and all the food looks so good that I want to eat it all! Omg it all looks so delicious
Do you know the name if that bread at the beginning?
That looks so f ing good like everything every fing thing upUGH IM HUNGRYYYYYY
Omg I can’t explain how many times I’ve replayed your daughter’s laugh it was so cute and precious >•
I'm so happy!! I was really wishing for something that would make me feel good and then this notification popped up!!
this was another super relaxing video! it actually helps my sister fall asleep because it calms her down a lot. The music was a welcome change too, it makes me feel almost nostalgic!
make sure to keep staying safe everyone
YES guess who’s back :D
This is very calming I like it :)
Oh the earlobe conversation was very funny. I love watching your recipes as it’s helpful and relaxing, but I also love your conversations too, they are so funny and sweet.
Thank you so much for making these videos, Imamu. They're calming enough to help me when I'm feeling bad, and the food looks good enough to remind me to eat and give me more ideas for what to cook!
Its amazing how culturally ingrained breakfast is more than any other meal. As an American I can't imagine having corn and crab chowder for breakfast. Anything can be had for lunch and dinner, but breakfast is so specific that I just can comprehend.
Another appearance of the "The Shining" twins shirt! Could it be Imamu's favorite shirt?
these videos give me such a comfort i've never expected to find. i really want to build a family, someday, sometime. the bond food stablishes between people is so beautiful. thank you for sharing 💕
“Have you touched the earlobes of all of humanity?” XD
I love the little conversation snippets. Thanks for another awesome video Imamu!
When she just said she doesn't care anymore I was dying of laughter XD
Aww so cute and yummy food ❤❤
Why am I crying 😭💓 This entire channel is so wholesome I can’t 🥺
the talk about the earlobes was so wholesome and reminded me of my family time together. it's always so random but it's so fun and relaxing. i adore your videos. they make me homesick even though I stay with my parents and brother. you cook with love and that's what makes your cooking looks so tasty
I love your videos x I admire how much effort and love goes into your family meals that you make and I find them so calming to watch and inspirational for meals x
Thank you for sharing! I feel like the missing love and warmth I didn't get growing up is being filled by watching these 🥰
it makes me so happy when you post videos! thank you imamu :)
i’m half japanese, born in yokohama but in america now. i miss having japanese people around me- so this makes me feel like home. thank you. i’m sure it’s hard working to record this process so delicately and cook at the same time :) your baby also remind me of my little sister when she was younger. so cute. shes 12 now. still cute :)
i cook some japanese meals. i will learn some of yours to be ready for when i have a child too!
Whats your new one
Watching Japanese dishes vlogs are so therapeutic 😌
Your daughter gives me such joy. And your meals look magnificent for certain!
...long ago my first bf loved a certain Japanese restaurant. He took me there, then he took both his mother and me. His mother was German and when she first tasted the delicious tonkotsu, she said,
"This tastes just like a pork cutlet!"
Which it is.
Thank you for posting this! Made my bad day better. I wasn’t feeling very good but this just cheered me up!!❤️❤️💕
These videos are so cute and they always make me hungry
One of my beloved birds passed away today, your videos always comfort me so thank you so so much for bringing me comfort when I need it the most
Sorry for the loss of your bird 🐦. Take care. 💜💜💜
@Raven Silvertounge
I recently lost a pet, too, and I also sought comfort via this channel's videos.
By the way, did you mean "tongue"? I've heard of being "silver-tongued" but not "silver-tounged," which isn't even actually a word. Just thought I'd let you know, in case you meant "tongued" so you can fix it.
Sorry for the loss of your birdy. I hope you're doing better now, a year out.
@@lisahinton9682 Yes I made this username when I was quite little after reading a book called The Golden Compass, so the misspelling is kind of nostalgic lol
In Mexico we do something similar to what you did to the bread, except we open it, spread the butter, put it in the oven and then we add the sugar. The melted sugar with butter and toasted bread is so delicious. They are called molletes and you can basically add any ingredient.
🤣 The earlobe dinner conversation had me dying 🤣
I always enjoying watching your videos and it gives me ideas on what to eat outside of our norm! Keep them coming!❤️
hey imamu, im curious what people's relationships with food are like over in japan? I've struggled with an ED in the past, and while I don't have one now, the thoughts are still there. your videos do help me with how i see food though, so thank you for that :)
Praying for you to officially overcome those thoughts one day. Stay strong, and stay healthy❤
@@corvaes Wait really? I did not know that, I thought they were in Japan. But now that I think of it, in either this video or in a recent past video I saw her use a canned ingredient that was fully in english. Slipped my mind when I first saw that, but thinking back it makes sense.
@@bluekrazykris They seem to live in a large city and close to stores where she can get Asian food. I'm curious as to where they live
@@judyjohnson9610 probably Toronto. Largest city in Canada
Your daughter's laughter with the Tuesday dinner made my week!
Thank you also for the pork katsu and curry idea! I will be trying that tomorrow. :)
Your videos are such a joy and a bright spot in my week. Thank you again for sharing your family meals with the world!
i love to watch these, the food looks so delicious!!
Hese have been my favorite videos to watch , as someone who wants to try diffrent yummy and healthy foods this is such a help! Even when im not cooking i love watching you everything is so serene and cozy , may whoever you belive in protect and continue to bless you and your family💕

A child’s laugh is like a big hug for your ears.
I’m def making the chicken and dumpling miso soup come fall!
Imamu’s video’s are always my, go to, comfort videos
I feel like i’m in a family restaurant everyday
Yours is the only channel where I watch every single video. And watch them start to finish.
I love to watch this channel while I eat :D it's so comforting
I love watching these vids of your wonderful family! I live far from my fam, so its so nice to see a homecooked meal being enjoyed together ❤
I just love to wake up on a Saturday morning and watching these with my breakfast. Thank you for making these :)
I kinda like it when she shows herself eating the final product with her family...I just find it so cute and a lot of food channels never really show someone else besides the chef eating the food ^^
I always look forward to your videos! I'm getting married soon and I'm excited to make some husbento inspired meals for my soon to be husband! Keep up the hard work! I love your content!
Congratulations 🎉
I would never in a million years have thought of combining deep-fried breaded pork cutlets with a vegetable curry! But it sounds perfect! Thank you!
Set up an Amazon wish list for cooking supplies that people can buy you…like a can opener!
Thank you for making these videos.
They are great to learn from and it's a great stress reliever to watch you create meals.
Thank you.
I love the mini sized meals for your daughter, even her little tray 🥺 it is so cute just like her. Love your videos !!
My husband and I lived in Japan for 3 years and this food is so nostalgic to me. I miss Japan! Amazing work, your food looks absolutely delicious. 😋
Yum. Everything looked so tasty. Especially The bonito chicken dumpling soup and the katsu pork curry.
the fact that my mother is always busy at her work, it makes me envy
I've been wanting to see a tinfoil recipe for fish for a while! It looks so tasty!
the soup you made with the strips of dough is so very close to the soup my grandmother used to make for me every birthday, its so nice to be reminded of it, thank you
Earlobe so satisfying to touch while imagine how soft the salmon 😳😳
I peeped your "the shinning" shirt. Awesomeeee. Also im seeing a lot of recipes that are pretty easy but unique. Never thought about cooking that way.
that " take care of myself next" made me laugh HAHAHAHA and i totally agree 😂
I once saw her take the egg that had the broken yoke. Seems to be an international mommy thing.
As someone who cooks for his older sister and mother, this channel is what I really needed!
"Have you touched the earlobes of humanity" XD I laughed so much
Your videos always hit so well from the cooking, the slice of life with the family, the music choices.
Can't wait to see what's in store next week!
"yes, it is egg" made me laugh
i love her videos so much!!
I saw this video before breakfast. I was grumpy and tired as one can be early in the morning. But your childs laughter picked me right up, a perfect start on any day: The happy laughter of a child! Thank you.
Can you do a grocery shopping vlog? What are your kitchen/pantry must haves and do you plan your meals ahead? If so, can you show us how? Thank you!!!
Thanks for showing what a family could be like
Loved it! The Dango soup reminded me of chicken and dumplings here in the south :)
