Before yesterday I knew nothing about Be First. Today I did some research. Ateez debuted in 2018 and Be First debuted in 2021 only 3 yrs later. Ateez members are all relatively close in age 24 and 25. Be First is on average a few years younger. If you read about each group’s members, you find they very closely parallel each other in personality. Both groups have similar vocals, rapping and dance skills and crazy popular in their respective countries. I’ve been an Ateez fan for about a year now but I think Be First could grow on me. Don’t worry Seonghwa, you’ll always be #1 for this grandma who wishes she was 40 years younger. 😉 Almost forgot-Fun Fact: Sota was a background dancer for Ateez at KCON-Japan in 2019.

This collaboration started when ATEEZ appeared at "D.U.N.K.Showcase n KYOCERA DOME OSAKA" by SKY-HI, the CEO of the company :BMSG that BE:FIRST is belong . So Mingi and Hongoong performed rap collaboration songs with other groups ‘s rappers (including SKY-HI of CEO and rappers ,and BE:FIRST's Ryouki). I went to that live show :D.U.N.K.Showcase, and it was so cool. I also participated in the BEAT AX Vol.4 event at Makuhari Messe in Japan on June 28. ATEEZ appeared for the last time. I was overwhelmed by them. Their performance was wonderful. It has been a long-standing dream of SKY-HI to interact like this beyond the boundaries of the group. I think it is might borders and genre barriers that ATEEZ is breaking in the video of this MV. " We don't need shields and spears. “ I guessed as if he was saying, "Just enjoy the music."
