Anytime its a Randy song, its a good day. Thanks guys great job as usual
cannot go wrong with that A leaguer
Another heavily requested Ozzy tune. This has one of Randy's most popular solos - and some absolutely essential riffs. We tried our best to capture the loose multitracking that Rhoads used. That original recording had a huge sound!
Also, donât buy a Randy Rhoads flying V unless you never play sitting down.
I have jackson rr5 japan 2004 and flying v in my collection , they are great for playing sitting and standing, great guitars
Lol yes. I bought a Jackson RR because I love Randy and the look of the guitar. However, it's not comfortable to play sitting down at all. I don't even really like it standing either. I think it's because the body is so small, my hand and arm feel like they have no support. Still pretty to look at it.
I saw the guitar and thought "Dang that's beautiful."
I've been looking at Flying V's for the last few weeks, since I have never owned one (only 60+ other guitars).
Guess I'll have to go to a store and feel what it's like seated now. Thanks for the advice!
@@kickerpunteritâs a great guitar but yes⊠not very comfortable to play. Maybe where Randy was so little it suited him better?
have a couple vintage late 70s V2s as well and they're friggen worse. I bet Randy loved getting that LP eventually!
this way of displaying 2 guitar tracks is a million times better than the split screen... please keep it like this :)
One of the best solos ever. Great job
it an an incredible song, until video of randy came out of him playing the solo a lot of people thought he used the tremolo bar for the part he pulls on the neck
@@Dave_Wight_The_Rock_Oracleliterally what I thought up until before I learned the song for the purpose of this channel. I did lots of things differently. Too bad there wasnât more footage of Randy Playing it. I pieced together what I could!
@@jasonsheppard7428 I just pulled up the Over the Mountain video from the Rosemont, something took me there, it is 2 minutes of the bridge and solo, but unfortunately the camera is not on Randy the whole time for the solo. But he is playing the white concorde and rocking out.
Nice job in the video, fantastic keeping the genius' music alive
@@jasonsheppard7428 a buddy of mine learned this song for his band, and he came and told me he had no idea how genius it was, with Randy putting in all these little things that most do not do in a studio version.....he enjoys playing this song a lot. Says people underappreciate how good it is
@@Dave_Wight_The_Rock_Oracle thatâs the one I used! Such a shame that the camera cuts away from Randy half way through the solo.
Thereâs another one too but itâs mostly of Rudy Sarzo
I feel like Randy Rhoads is looking down from above giving this a big thumbs up, probably a little embarrassed people are still listening to his music 4 decades later and lauding his playing, but Randy was a teacher first and foremost so he probably would love it on that angle...
HELL YEAH OVER THE MOUNTAIN!!! One of my favorite ozzy songs. Rip RR.
Finally someone who actually tabs it right and knows how to play it correctly (I knew before this upload and the octave intro is wrong
I believe in Mr. Tabs SUPREMACY
...you are absolutely the best guitar teacher on CZcams!!!...
I already know how to play this song, but watching this made me happy for some reason. Keep Randyâs name alive, and do more tutorials for people like Flying High Again or Goodbye To Romance or something.
Thanks!
Thank you!
This channel introduced Ozzy to me with Crazy Train tab video and ever since i'm trying to learn every ozzy's and others songs. Don't know, just wanted to say thanks. I'm waiting on new tabs!
Rock on!
Perfectly executed, respectable work for a classic Rhoads!
Wake up dead - Megadeth
Not enough complements to say to you.
Amazing playing as always. Wish you the best of success.
Abrazo Mexicano.

Thank you very much!
More Ozzy and Randy is superb!! :) Thank you for uploading this. Now i am finally Over the Mountain of learning this. ;)
You cracked the code!!! its time the world knows that the solo is double tracked with each take being a different octive
Best tab channel on YT!!!
Just when I thought you could not get better-
-You blow my mind away with how close yet get it to the record. Watching the tabs scroll as I hear you play is also the bomb!
Bravo, another flawless performance. This one is especially impressive. Caught everything. đđđđ€
Love that tone
This used to be one of the first lp's I played on my dad's turntable back in the day!
Painkiller by Judas Priest pls, it would be an awesome content
Yes!! He was already dressed for itâŠđ
Randy Rhoads stuff always appreciated, such a small amount but still timeless..
Fantastic! That Marshall sound kicks ass!
Rebell Yell would be terrific!!!
Im so happy right now
Some of the catchiest riffs are the simplest. Top 50 songs that i could listen to multiple times a week. THANKS! I just have to go out and get a Marshall. Its the missing link.
Nice! Great song to do!
I remember feeling like learning Diary of a Madman was a benchmark for my playing.
Id looooove to see a Badlands / Jake E Lee song!
was just learning the song, perfect timing, thanks mr Tabs
You never cease to amaze me, man! Awesome playing!!
Well, shoot. Just when I feel pretty good about my own playing, I watch this. Back to the drawing board. Ha. Nice work brother!
Thank you for this! I needed something that I could work on my timing, palm muting, and faster, more consistent picking.
Mr. Tabs simply the best!!!!
Awesome job!! Thanks for the hard work putting this together.
Loved this video.
That solo is SO GOOD!! Fun to watch you play it.
F'ng nailed it! Awesome!
My band decided to cover this a few days ago. Thanks buddy!
Amazing as always
Muy bueno amigo, eres un excelente guitarrista!!
Love love â€ïž this channel đđđ
CoverSolutions posting Dean Town, and now this? ITS A BLESSING
Killer job!
great stuff as always bro\
Thank you for everything
What's up Mr. TABSđđ great song. In the solo at 2 min and 47 seconds how are you doing them crazy bends man? I love it
Thatâs a tricky one. All Iâm doing with my fret hand is pulloffs but I quickly grab the b string and just yank on it. Takes a bit of practice and itâs almost IMPOSSIBLE to get it to sound just like Randy. I always assumed it was a whammy bar but I donât think they made recessed tremolos back then and also, in a live video of Randy, thatâs how he does it! Blew my mind . Such a cool trick
Why every Randy's solo is hard asf? I feel stupid...
I Dont know. Does it matter? This is a Jake E Lee song.
One of my favorite and first songs to learn guitar, thanks to Randy. This is my favorite Ozzy song
Very nice cover ! Thanks ! Randy was such a great guitarist...
He really was. Glad you liked the video!
all time A leaguer, encourage people to listen to all of the bootleg shows on youtube, the guy never played a song the same way twice
Road to Nowhere please!
Thanks for the lesson
Good job đ
Beautiful
FLY HIGH AGAAIN !!!đđđđ
Ya.. at 56 years old I have been playing this track for about 15 seconds into the solo since 1983. Nice work and thanks! I still won't be able to get the whole thing but at least I will know how. đ
Amazing tune with an amazing riff and solo from Randy Rhodes! This is one of his most instantly recognizable pieces! Great work on this one! Thanks for posting this incredible lesson! đđđđžđ¶âš
love the double guitar parts! would be cool to do the same for other songs like welcome to the jungle.
Thank you MR TabZ

FINALLY. AWESOME
Love it! đ„
Incredible đ
Just fantastic! And that tone! Beautiful!
Thanks. In case you're interested, for all tones and effects I use software called Amplitube Max. This software contains many virtual amps and pedals. The plug-ins are available to all my Patreon subscribers so you that if you have Amplitube Max yourself, you can get exactly the same tone as me at home. I also offer screenshots of the virtual amps and pedals so that if you donât have Amplitube you can attempt to replicate the tone using whatever equipment you have available.

@@Dave_Wight_The_Rock_Oracle Yoo i follow ur instagram u post Randy stuff i love that bro and i agree with tonight its a song that shows a lot of randys neoclassical side
Definitely all Randy era Ozzy tunes will be covered at some point! I idolized Ozzy and all his guitarists when I was a teenager
@@OrangeHypers are you in the legacy Randy rhoads group.....I post all of the bootlegs there.
Thanks for the follow on instagram.
@@jasonsheppard7428 You know Ozzy was on my walls, then the re-recording code red of those two masterpieces happened and I started to realize Ozzy was not the guy I really idolized it was his musicians. He was just a mouthpiece who did melodies and sang what Bob wrote for him to sing.
I look forward to seeing other songs Ozzy sang on but I really would love to see the Blizzard of ozz (BAND) albums , and the live versions if possible. I would also love to see someone do a comparison and contrast of Iommi vs Rhoads on those 3 songs, vs Jake vs Zakk...
Please do some stuff from the SteelDragon movie ⊠â€
Amazing idea. Livinâ the life is a real banger
Fire woman or sun king by the cult please!
