I started watching this with skepticism (as probably most do), but then got rid of those thoughts and I am impressed with your efforts actually, and what you are trying to do is definitely good.
Something that did come to mind was the part where you go into some detail about setting up the traffic management company. You basically describe in very clear and understandable way the path you're taking to start and build up a company and now at the most difficult point that you're trying to understand - why is it that we have a company here, ready to do the work and so-forth, but the work is going elsewhere, perhaps to other companies outside of the area?
Be aware that right here, at this point, is probably one of the most difficult hurdles you will face in any business - to describe in the most simplest terms, it is getting other people to give you their money to do a job for them. This is probably the hardest part, of any new business.
Firstly I think I can see that you're just not any new business, you're kind of a special version of what would be a normal business, which are ones setup in a kind of very personal way for the benefit of the founder alone to do it, but you're different in that you are not so much thinking about your own gains, but that of others, to get them into the work and distract them away from bad things etc, so in this sense you need others to give you that opportunity. Now who needs to hear that message and fully understand it so they will consider you more seriously? You probably need to start forming relationships with those people - the ones involved in this kind of work, that hold the "keys to the kingdom", and give out the work. You need to get in front of them and start explaining what you're doing to these young guys and how it is going to benefit your community, and everything else. It's a great endeavor and people will listen to that and that might be the way forward for you right now. Find out who they are and setup some meetings with them, and plan properly what you are going to say to reassure them that you can do the job well, etc.
I think the fact you have come this far, have a good main reason behind why you're doing it, etc, is worth listening to, and they probably don't really know this part of it. Most importantly, what you really need now, is perseverance and it's easy to start feeling negative and failed, but don't mate, you should be very proud of what you have done so far. God bless.

Having an association to something with 62 years of negative imaging is always going to be an uphill battle, regardless of what your doing. While what your doing and your vision is mean as and commendable, its nothing new and you have mistakes or failings of others to contend with as another uphill battle. Roy Dunn, Son Dog and Paito are just a few of those who have tried in the last 2 decades to bring positivity towards the bulldog, however any time a patch member regardless of chapter ends up in the media it all comes undone. You cant expect to keep an overt connection to a negative image and try to run a TTM business against neutral companies. All the best for the future.

Mean episode! Sad that some gangs are doing better for their communities than the government are but it’s awesome to see! If you ever make your way to Hamilton, you should definitely check out what the Mob is doing out there. They’ve spread out globally, now there’s chapters in UK, Canada, USA, Hawaii, Thailand, Russia and all throughout Europe and I’m pretty sure they all come under the Waikato chapter. Also they have the first ever female chapter Wahine Toa. They’re making big moves. I hear they’re doing good things for themselves and for the community. Also in Ngaruawahia, for the last few years, the Tribal Huks have been making sandwiches and dropping them off to schools all throughout Ngaruawahia and Hamilton for kids that aren’t given lunches or just don’t have enough. Should check them out too!

I have watched many friends fall victim to this vicious cycle. Up there with meth when it comes to destroying lives. Many of our tamariki are starving because their parents have become addicted to these things. Its sad to hear that's the only way you can get sponsored because i like your mahi. I don't care what anyone says about my comment but it took a supernatural encounter with CHRIST to break those chains. I hope someone else can sponsor your mahi. All it takes is you to ask around and you will find plenty of lives destroyed. Maybe even a story about that will bring in sponsors to help our tangata whenua.

The older gang members always show love to those kids that are abused and don't have safety at home etc.. some also gravitate to it for other reasons, but in the end they find brotherhood, other brothers who were abused and backed into the corners of the world from society etc. I was once in this lifestyle, that's just where life lead some of us sadly.

All the up and coming aspiring members will now have a positive path to follow if he stays in the gang . Would like to see more gangs doing better in this country than anything else, especially the Maori. They owe it to themselves, they owe it to their community.
