  • Beyond an amazing tool, capable of a lot more than your traditional combination wrench. Installation becomes an extremely fast process, removing oxidized and worn nuts is nothing less than a joke, and the ratchet on the end is extremely convenient! Like, share, comment and subscribe!

Awesome review. You discussed, you demonstrated and you did it without the fluff in under 3 mins. Unreal! Not many reviews out there like it!

Thanks for the review. One of these days I hope to pick up a set of jokers.

Nice review. I just bought the 11 piece set on sale, cant wait to get them. Bought them as a second wrench set (you need at least 2 sets, for counter holding etc) and i needed gear wrenches too. They seem to be very useful.

Hi nick quick question although the open end of the joker spanners are useful don't you agree that the angled ratchet spanner that is reverse gear usually sold by kencrome and facom who I'm sure are sister companies as they are identical are more practical?? I'm speaking from a lift engineers perspective

Can the "joker" piece be removed if needed? Looks like a t6 or similar holding it in?

Wera has some neat stuff for sure. But as for price point on their wrenches, far from great! A comparison to another ratcheting wrench might have been a more apples to apples comparison, just a thought.

What other wrenches can hold a nut? I thought this way the most unique design I have seen in a wrench. Would love to see another innovation close to this.

I don't know of any with that feature on the open end no. It's more common that the box end can hold a nut, there's a bunch out there that do that. All I meant was comparing the most basic combination wrench to this one is like comparing a Honda civic to a Ferrari. Put it up against something in the same league.

How thick walled is the box end compared to say the snap on ratchet wrenches?

      Are they smaller than gearwrench?

Nice video! You use "actual" and "actually" waay too much, but I guess that's okay.

It's obvious from reading through the other reviews that most of you are NOT professional mechanics. I have been a Heavy Industrial Mechanic for 24 years (machines/forklifts/tractor trailers) and from experience I can see several good reasons for the open end design. I also understand the price associated with quality tools. For all of the "ShadeTree" mechanics out there, stick to GearWrench and leave the reviews to the people that turn wrenches 6 days a week and who know the value of quality tools.

Hi JPeck, just wondering, what would be the several good reasons for the open end design (of the open end side)? Would really be helpful if you could elaborate. Thanks

Also, what's with the guitar riff over your narration at 2:20? It sounds like it's signaling the outro, but it's in the middle of you talking, and then the music just ends, with you still talking.
