That box is a lot nicer looking than you would figure. Yeeeeah I have the ultimate collection on DVD, after reading some reviews it's obvious I need this mind blowing version.

@@rashidhumine ahh well, actually it's mainly because I didn't think the Blu Ray was a good enough package for what this series genuinely deserves, no proper box, boring ass standard blue cases, and it hardly had any genuine additional extras above what the DVD box set has already, as extensive as they may already be. This still does not have the Matrix Archives disc in it that the DVD set has, in fact. Plus I always felt the color scheme of the green and the blue needed to be done in a way that made it a bit more, I don't know.... impactful? The Blu Ray didn't get any mastering to improve on it, while the 4k set is a complete remaster, including the color grading. So a lot of reasons actually 😜
Dude you literally missed out the third disc for each movie that was stacked under the Blu Ray discs.
What’s on the 3rd disks?
I would guess tons of special features, what else would a third disc be.
These movies have a boatload of special features, rightfully so.
did they add the 2003 mtv movie awards intro on the matrix reloaded bonus disc, that into has me dying

Could be my OCD, but there's a possibility of trapped dust in between the disc-backing and the disc-casing. Therefore, hope you didn't scratch any of the discs when you rotated them still lodged in the case. Going forward, I'd take the extra effort in removing the disc to rotate them right-side up. :)

Just got mine...the front silver portion was ripped off :(
It was ripped like that even with the sealed transparent plastic intact, bought from Amazon - New.
Similar problem my trilogy came sealed but the top cover over the three dvd cases NOT in a box. There was no box holding the three dvd cases like in this video. Ordered it through Amazon as well. What the fungus!

It just shows that major studios don't issue "COMPLETE COLLECTIONS" because they use the consumer to make that money from release, after release, after release, after release, after release, cashing in with "exclusives" and "limited to this set" just like Paramount. I've officially had it. This release deserved to have the Animatrix in 4K as well, even if you don't like it, or haven't seen it, it would make this set something to upgrade to, from the sexy Blu Ray set from years ago. Otherwise, cash grab...eat me out Warner Brothers 😛💩 y'all can suck my taint!!!!!
It include Atmos, if you're a home theater enthusiastic and Matrix fan, it's worth the buy. Although, I'd love to have those extras you mentioned. Just keep in mind that they brought back the original sound engineers to remaster everything in Dolby Atmos, I bet that wasn't cheap.
