I did like everything right but it doesnt work, it says that SkillOne is not a valid member of Folder "ServerStorage.CharacterFolder"
Edit: I did do the thing at the end where you rename the folders

When i test the game and try using the dropdown button to see the characters it does not work

idk if this is gonna help you but i had the same issue that you had...what i did was change the name of the ReplicatedStorage to CoreEvent by accident but i renamed it to the correct name and it worked
if you know why my character doesnt respawn when i click characters could you please help me

Im not a coder or anything so idrk much but how come whenever i put the button at 6:33 the name stayed as "button" and stayed as a white background with black font even though i edited the color and name in the properties tab

My character gui isnt working i mean when i click the "c" aka characters button they just don't pop open and when I press the character1,characte2,character3 it does reset but doesn't shows any character's buttons text

Bro this new ai code is so good, it literally had the exact code u did whenever I typed a bit of it, and at most I had to change one word of code from “Name” to “Text” (btw great tutorial)

Important note: Background Transparency will make only ur GUI transparent, but you still can click on it. So, i suggest to work on visibility instead of transparency.

at 28:36 when you say put ur own character name do i put in characterAizen (for context im making a bleach battlegrounds game) or do i just put Aizen casue for my character file i named it just aize. amazing vid tho

At 33:12 I cant write the script because of the characters name, being example.Ice Prince, making the script think its 2 different words. Is there a fix to this?
You have to use brackets for multiple words, ex. ["Ice Prince"]

Im a little confused on the GUI part, like I followed everything perfectly and nothing is popping up when i click my character button Does the gui show up in the actual game and not the test mode only?
It shows up in both, double check to make sure you set up everything right
I am having trouble! any time I make prompt with () in it. instead of the line that flashes when text gets inserted. it is instead a black box flashing. any time I press space or backspace it deletes like anything behind it or Infront of it. But anyways, I am making a Roblox battleground game, and this helped out a lot! Thanks, dude!

I put the textbutton to open character selector as an image button instead so instead of IsA:('Textbutton') do i do ImageButton?

Hey man, I appreciate the tutorials you've put together. I just started the 4th video, but I realized something isn't working right. When I click on my GUI and select a character, my character doesn't spawn on the spawn locations, it just spawns in a random spot. I rewatched the portion of this video where you created the spawn script, and everything is correct. I even added the spawn script in a different game that I use to test scripts and it works fine there. Any help would be appreciated.
