The Lion Sleeps Tonight

A black-maned lion sleeps at Kapama Game Park in South Africa on our safari there. As we watched, the lion roused himself from sleep and fixed his eyes on the sky and a buzzard flying overhead. Where there's a buzzard, perhaps there is food? The wonderful music of Toronto's acapella group 'The Nylons' describes the scene.

Gorgeous lion. His hazel eyes are breathtaking. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. Probably doesn't get a lot of peace in the wild even as an apex predator. Awesome video. Thank you for posting.
