Windblown is a lightning fast co-op action roguelite from the crafters of Dead Cells! Take on the role of a Leaper, and defend the Ark from a suuuuuper angry Vortex! Collect the memories of fallen warriors and unleash your fury on gorgeous procedurally generated sky-islands.

The art direction is just pure eye candy! I could just look at the environment for hours on end.
Especially the puke! So mesmerizing.

The music is from Danger, they have really good music and they also did another games music called ‘Haven’ it’s a very nice story game.

@@gavinmorrison2597 Danger is the bomb! I first played furi, saw the trailer for haven and eventually bought it, and by god it was wonderful!
I like both games' musics but haven tops it. It feels like the world itself is singing, screaming and is basically the instruments that play of the haven ost. I have high hopes of this game, considering the music artist
I'm gonna need some bonus respect to Danger here. Made my favourite tracks in Furi, Haven and now Windbound too. He just doesn't miss.

I would buy the game if they didn’t do dead cells like that. Honestly, I would rather just support devs of the games I have right now than support motion twin at the moment. I mean, why get wind blown when I could pick up the new rain world dlc or get silksong when it comes out in a couple decades?
Damn can't wait to see them hand this game off to someone else who greatly improves it in the following years!

i get some really good furi vibes with the neons and the snappy gameplay, i dig it! i do hope we'll get the musc for the reveal trailer in the soundtrack because it rocks! the music even there is dope so i'm looking forward to the ost!

Dead Cells ceased development because Motion Twin wanted more attention on Windblown. Evil Empire had been the sole developers on Dead Cells for the vast majority of its lifespan and they had many more updates planned but Motion Twin cut them off because they wanted people excited in the new game "by the creators of Dead Cells" even though barely any people who even worked on Dead Cells at all are currently part of the Motion Twin team.
@@cleoknight4788 I am aware, and although I will be playing Windblown (if it ever comes out on console) it really sucks to see Dead Cells get this treatment. It still gets VERY respectable player counts on Steam so it makes no sense to completely stop working on it. Hopefully they give us more DLC’s in the future.

@@zepredalux2159 a former Motion Twin guy made a blog post about it, saying it didn't surprise him at all. It gave me an incredibly poor taste in my mouth about anything MT related going forward.
@@Darker3lf The reason why they ceased development is because they didn't want the game to get stale, or "More of the same" as they put it. 6 years of updates is a long time for updates to still be released.

Please give us the option to manually dash between the islands including longer treks! Some friends and I have already joked about the game being who can get from one place to the other the fastest, including micro adjustments for direction, spacing, and more. We all know the combat is going to be great with your guys experience, and the dash racing looks to be a fantastic addition!

Not actually 'by the creators of Dead Cells' since only 3 devs from the OG Dead Cells team actually remain at Motion Twin out of 50+ employees. Its like saying the next CoD game is by the creators of Dark Souls becuase one guy from FromSoftware joined the team

when i look at the artstyle, I just get reminded of skylanders. And the gameplay looks solid!

My take on the lore + my theories
(This could all be wrong so take this with a grain of salt)
So it looks like some organization/being is using machinery to create the enemies we will fight in the game, and the bosses could either be more powerful creations or (like dead cells) guards/powerful beings that worked for the final boss.
Also the pirate ship enemies could be creations that went rouge and left.
There is always the possibility that what I think are lines of machinery to create the enemies could be disassembling the enemies we will fight in game.
Once again, take all of this with a grain of salt and feel free to put your theories in the comments of this comment.

Gameplay looks more Hyper Light Drifter sequel than Hyper Light Breaker does. Love slight Furi nods as well.
