This is such a fun episode. The crew is fighting together all at once against many guardsmen, knight looking guys, auction house workers, etc. The teamwork they used in Thriller Bark is coming in handy, for sure. Haki from Rayleigh. He sees the straw hat and says it suits dauntless men very well. Is the haki like mantra from the Sky Islands? We will find out fairly soon, but Oda doesn't rush things even though it seems like we're getting all this new stuff dumped on us. It's just that there's so much of the story to tell that he can introduce the VC of the Roger Pirates this early in the series and not give the entire game away. Remember the mantra was strong in Enel and his main henchmen, but also in the young Shandian girl that snuck away to gather Vearth all the time. They could sense stuff from far away and predict movements in battle, but didn't just knock people out like what Rayleigh did at the auction house. Good discussion as usual! The rest of this arc is dense with discussion topics that you guys can mull over for probably as long or longer than the episodes take to watch :)
@@levinkeluargapolca The way Luffy's haki was shown against the Duval's bull had an animation to show the power but it was not shown when Shanks used it against the sea king ~ The animators probably did it this way to not give too much clues about the existence of Haki in the earlier episodes
