Hi, I loved this tutorial, it was just what I needed thank you. I have a question. Have you ever noticed if the dye ran if it ever gotten wet? I hope to make these permanent and I have all purpose dye (which I believe is suppose to be permanent)

Looks very good but I would like to know what the quantities will be of the products you use when you mix it with cold water. Thank you.

How many feathers do typically need for one dress? And what inches were they?

Did you boil the dye? and did you add anything else to the dye? like vinegar or alcohol ? Appreciate your feed back .

Did you watch the video? Damn. Water, dish soap, salt, as much dye as you want for vibrancy.

Love the dress , wouldn’t of been faster if you sewed the feathers on a ribbon then attach it to the dress instead of putting them on one at a time just a suggestion….

I’ve definitely done it with trim before. Any feather should take the color.

@@TheBlackandMarried thank you for your response! I'm going to be ordering some feather trim that is already a bright pink and want to make it a hot pink/fuchsia color I'm customizing an outfit for a festival event and I want them to match my outfit do you think if the feathers are a lighter pink colour that they will take to a darker/brighter pink colour?
