This a good tutorial. I suggest you just install the build tools for visual studio individually. Rather than install the whole visual studio package as this is not possible if you are developing in ubuntu. thanks and more power

Ok but how to use "watchdog" to autoreload python code ? When i use it ("--dev=reload" on cmd) server shutdown and i need to restart it everytime. Any tips ?

I followed your video and faced an error :ERROR: Could not install packages due to an OSError: Could not find a suitable TLS CA certificate bundle, invalid path: C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\16\ssl\certs\ca-bundle.crt. while executing pip install -r requirements.txt

Did you successfully install the python packages mentioned in requirements.txt file?
Thankyou but I get this error. Database creation error: FATAL: role "openpg" does not exist
There could be two reasons. 1 - You have not created postgres user. 2 - The postgres user you added to the config file is not the one you created.
Please watch the video again to understand how to configure the postgres user in odoo config file.

solve it. the problem was that i had python 3.12, downloaded 3.10 and run new venv and reinstalled requirments.txt
