- JEFFREY NOTHING has released the official music video for the newest single, "The Outage." Directed by Ian D. Sniesak and edited and shot by Jon Conner of A Hole in the Head Productions, with assisted videography by Thomas Church and Aj Taranto.

Dream big and share your soul… I, for one, will be listening. So many trash their bodies and minds and feel they just get to wake up from whatever mistake they just made no matter what. It is so heartbreaking to watch a generation be wiped out because they truly believe they are invincible. We are not. Risking oneself for that ever-elusive first high destroys far more than the singular self. Parents never want to outlive their children. You are not that invincible person who will beat any challenge, just because. Stop for one second and be that miracle baby again. Pain and trauma are the real gateway drugs and until we learn to face the pain and overcome we will continue the cycle of abuse, be it substance or other. If we don't, addiction ends up being in control. It destroys what's beautiful, and then dances and parades what remains around for all the world to see. It can be easy to become ensnared in the prisons of our mind. If we take a close look at ourselves in the midst of our addiction, it can seem as if we are suffocating, wrapped in the fake plastic of the lies we believe that have now led us to the predicament we are in. Nothing has teamed up with fellow former MUSHROOMHEAD guitarist Thomas Church following their departure from the band in March of 2018. The group also features former MOTOGRATER and THE BROWNING drummer Noah "Shark" Robertson, vocalist Ian D. Sniesak, and bassist Steven Adams.

Jeffrey's movements and stand out voice are chillingly satisfying. It just isn't possible to find his vocals anywhere else.

Saw it just earlier, pretty intense but honest
I saw it as well. However, it just makes this video, along with the lyrics all the more confusing. I can see the Lord has truly touched him, but it seems like he is still continuing to live a life not particularly glorifying to God. At least not based on this. We are all sinners, but I do feel off about what his understanding of finding Christ means.

@@Crustapher And have you ever heard of Mortal Treason? Greatest Christian metal band ever. I used to be a huge metal head, my issue isnt the medium. This type of imagery is not uplifting to God. How do preserved organs, bloody dismembered dolls, or Jeffrey's mask which is essentially leather face (someone else's skin) convey the glory of God? It's quite the opposite. It seems he still maybe wants to walk the line, and not fully surrender. The Gate to the Lord is narrow and not many will find it.

Jeff, I have been listening to mushroom head since 2000 when I was 15 now I'm 37. Last year I started going to chruch and my life has been way worse, but I like to quote you by saying "you don't know peace til you know suffering." I will stick with God to get me through the Storm. Just wanted to say thank you. Your testimony made me feel some peace and not alone.
This man makes me want to do more singing, and much heavier music. Ever since I picked up the first Mushroomhead XX album when I was 13. The power in his voice is truly groundbreaking! Thank you Jeffrey!

At the first verse of "fighting for freedom", for some reason, I get moved to tears. Right at the break of the solo is the awakening. Instead of stepping out of the box, step out of the universe and look at it all, and yourself. There is some power behind this gem!

******** Jeffrey Nothing. Sigh... I got to meet him in Clarksville Tennessee, when he was in Mushroomhead. Literally the nicest person I've ever met. I got to meet one of my heros!!! I still have my pix, shirt, and my lanyard, that was signed by everyone. I still stand to this day. He has the best voice. Hands down!!! I've been following since Super Buick, and his side stuff. He's #1 in my book!! 👌👌👌

I lost my sister few months back then my uncle then I just found out my dad has cancer and iv started drinking again (pretty much every day) and I see myself going down the same hole I once crawled out of filled in then preached off the mound ...now I. And wanted to let you that you're noticed here and definitely not invisible here. I noticed you in mushroomhead. You're a legendary singer. As creative artists we are allowed to do whatever we want with our music. I'm glad you found a solo project and are stilling keeping up. I remember going to a mushroomhead show when I was like around 7 years old and got a pic with him and got a chance to wear his old mask, but I didn't because it was soaked with sweat, I'm 15 ( as of this comment) and still love to listen to them now and then, my parents have even hung out with them, I spent my early childhood listening to mushroomhead so I have a soft spot for them

I truly hate that I have missed this until now. I used to be a diehard Mushroom head fan, but because of there monumentally stupid decisions the past few years, I just checked out on them and everything associated with them. This is the direction they should have gone. Jeffery proves that in this song.
