Valimar was cool but personally Rean was overloaded with character traits(8 leaves practitioner, divine blade, war hero, ogre, spirit unification, teacher, harem protag, etc) didn't also need a mech imo. Grendel and van feel more grounded and I like that better personally.
@@ronaldday8571 Well of course he'll have too many character traits when you bloat them by counting Eight Leaves and Divine Blade or Ogre and Spirit Unification as separate traits. I do somewhat agree that Rean has a lot going on compared to the other protagonists though.
@@tinyprawnie8101 fair I separate them because I feel the feat of achieving divine blade needed to be highlighted, because there are practioners who aren't divine blades. I felt earning the title was worth mentioning. Spirit unification is cool and all, but the edgy I can't control it ogre power is peak and deserves its own mention. I love Rean but maybe 5 games of the Rean arc made me miss simpler days of playing a young girl with a big stick, famous dad and being in love with my non blood related brother.

Probably is. Generally that’s how Jap to Eng works since the two languages are pretty different
