I just love this family
I remembered planting rice at 5yrs old in watered muddy fields back where I come from. Also remembered the rice was gather in sacks by the paddy rice cutting machine. We took the rice out to the nearest roads by horses carrying 2 sacks of rice on each side of the horse. The horse were used because the fields were too muddy to drive a vehicle. If I can go back and redo it all over again, I would do it in a heart beat. Living in the country side was one of the greatest experience I ever had!

My mother’s family is from South Carolina. My uncle planted rice in 1967. The News came to him and asked why. He said because I wanted too. Later I cried because I wasn’t apart of that. We stopped going there after my grandma died four years earlier. My grandpa died soon after. It was a treat for us all to for the summer. It would be awhile before I’d return. After grandma and grandpa died you got to go to remind you of your roots. In other words; if you misbehaved you visited an auntie for a bit. I never got to go until after I was married. Family reunions… . You are so blessed. Work love, work together, work hard, work for the future…

These videos from them just screams one thing....LIFE IS SIMPLE WE HUMANS COMPLICATES IT....imagine if grandpa was in a western world,people would have confined him into a sedimentary life...especially consideringd large growth at d back of his ear plus even people here have raised unnecessary alarm on dat growth but see grandpa still agile and working perfectly in his 80s...this just resonated in me to think too much of everything is bad...too much inquisitiveness is bad,if in d western world grandpa would have been taken to a specialist to remove that lump which might have caused him his life...i bet u that grandpa might live many years even with that lump on his neck...exposure to so many things has it own pros/cons....life is so simple,wr sometimes complicate it with our doings...
