I had outlets inside my built-ins for my printer and other things I wanted to keep plugged in. So fun for you to design your space how you want it! My husband is an electrician. He wanted me to give up my floor plug I had planned and I would NOT! So glad I kept that. He wouldn’t let me have the white built-ins though. So, I had beautiful brown cabinets. 🙄 But most of us crafters like seeing our products for inspiration. Still, what a blessing to design our spaces and have spaces to design. 😊❤️

Your craft room looks fantastic!! If your closet shelves are sticky when you put items on/off them just top coat them with water based poly top coat. If you have problems with echoing, there are several sound absorbing acoustic art options on the market. So happy for you!!!!
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for the tips. Luckily the shelves are not sticky. The echoing is only because there was nothing in the craft room. Once I get all of my stuff in there, the echoing will diminish.
Love how light and bright it is! When we moved into Washington our house was so small we built a 20’x20’ bungalow for me and I had beautiful laminate wood flooring and all my cabinets were white, but my walls were green. I had like 9 recessed lights that later I changed out to these fanned out lights that are so bright when I had my lights on at night it looked like the Luxor in Vegas. Can’t wait to see how your room progresses.
I moved in Dec. My last craftroom was windowless in the basement also. I kept it white with white cabinetry to keep it as bright as possible. I also decorate with pink. So happy for your new space. I love your new closet space too.

Gorgeous room! WHY did they put baseboards up so early? Especially when you’re adding built in cabinets. That’s usually one of the final punch list items 😊
Thank you, Nicole. I don't know much about the construction process so I can't tell you why the baseboards went up when they did. Everything worked out in the end though.

Thank you. The flooring is Luxury Vinyl Plank. It's easy to clean and vacuum up all of the small pieces of paper after crafting. lol.
