its so cool seeing what you set out to do all the way back in san diego. when i get land one day, ill def be using these videos. God bless!
Love it Elijah I look forward to seeing that!
Very smart. Many people have no idea the fertilizers you can make with things people toss out like food scraps for Jadam style or FPJ. With hugelkultur i grow crops for pennies now, using rain (small land yard area for few heads)
You're right, it's amazing how many techniques are out there to grow the best food on the planet for pennies!

Just a thought here, but if you move your IBC to where the center line of the tote is just forward of the center line of your axle, like maybe an inch or so, the weight will distribute better and not lift the nose of the trailer.
Or if going for the slight tilt for emptying the tote, maybe just slightly aft of the axle center line, then you could get a little more in the tote at a time.
Thanks for this video.
You're welcome, happy to share what's working for me.
Very cool!
Amazing as usual…
Clever idea 👍👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Great ideas! Could you put this in a drone fertilizer? I have local farmer who purchased a drone fertilizer and might be for hire. Might be away to stay off the fields, probably not the cheapest though.
Thanks Steven I’m making me some liquid fertilizer
Let's goooo!
I'd use it for rows and construct an offset rig similar to yours but about a good 4.5 foot long or so pipe sticking out off of the rear driver's side about hitch height with extra stabilization so it can handle the weight of water and potential hard bumps, ensuring there would be zero compaction in the production area using my UTV, no tractor or truck yet.
Have you tried turning the plastic tube so that the slit is facing upward rather than down? It might make for a more even and controlled flow of liquid. They use this trick with hockey rink zamboni machines.
Interesting idea I'll have to try that, thanks!
I use fish, crabs, fruit, woodchips and urine to make liquid tea.
I appreciate the 10c 😄
In some way, a metal rod can be placed at the end of the tank structure, parallel to the vehicle's wheels, and with some weight at the end, these rods can split the ground, enabling the water to reach a deep point, and at the same time, it is good for aerating the soil, and removing the effects of the pressure of the vehicle's wheels.
I don't want to do any type of tillage on my soil but for those that do and have a machine like you describe I think that's a great idea.
I'm in Arkansas. Learning IMO collection and such of KNF practice. I madee a fermentation of everything I could find over a year. And put in a pinch of full fungi.. and leaf mold..and other things.. thinking hwt alk this would be in a compost pile. Added a pinch of real growers recharge. Some mychariza and pinches of other organic with beneficial bacteria and fungi supposedly. Well it say till this spring. I uncovered it and it had a tick thick white spongeass on top. I broke it up and spread it around before i added about a foot on top of topsoil.. well I got this Dog Vomit Amoeba stuff this year like crazy. Is it bad?
So if I wanted to kick start the JLF i could put the plant material/ chicken manure and add a microbe product? like recharge by real growers idk if your familiar with products like that
For ec 2 what dilution and for ec 4 what dilution?
I wonder if, with sufficient baffles to limit sloshing (which would be transmitted on the drawbar), a two-ebike or even two-bike team could tow your little fertispreader invention, be they spreading homemade organic fertilizers, commercial purified fertilizers, or just water during a drought (although this would have limited effectiveness compared to setting up a pivot, or earthworking for flood irrigation).
I also wonder if a peristaltic pump linked to the wheel speed of the trailer could provide more even fertilization (run the pump faster if you're driving faster).
That is great. But maybe instead of fertilizer vs nothing the test should be fertilizer vs water.
your video where you went to his farm was gold, it brought the book to life. Not sure if you would be willing to do Bible studies in your videos, from what I've seen you love the Lord, people need Jesus right now more, God bless you brother for teaching so many helpful farming techniques.
Hopefully can go back to Korea this year to do more videos at their new farm. Thanks for the encouragement on that, this topic has been on my mind a lot.
Which video is it it? New subscriber and I need to see it!
When you top it up with water, do you let it sit for a while to get rid of the chlorine first or does that not matter?
It's well water. But in this case I'm just putting down nutrients so chlorine isn't an issue. If it was an inoculant based input like JMS, LIMO, aerated tea then definitely no chlorine.
@@NaturesAlwaysRightOk thank you
Evenly...... HAHAHAHA
I’ve always read that you can’t use weeds in your compost or compost tea because of the risk of spreading weed seeds. Can weeds be part of your organic matter with this method?
Yes, Harvest before they go to seed and it's fine. Also if sitting for a long time in water the seeds will be destroyed. Also reaching temps of 140-160 for a week will kill most weed seeds if the plants did go to seed.
Thank you!

It seems to me like the things that go into that fertilizer could be fed to chickens or pigs then soldier flies and composting worms. Wouldn't those be better and faster and even closer to how nature does things?
All those are great options too but are those creating fertilizer I can spread on my field in enough potency/amount like this is for my field? No. My waste products go to all you mentioned as well as making bio fertilizers.
@@NaturesAlwaysRight How about making a concoction/tea from the composted stuff (AFTER they've been fed to the animals/insects/worms) or are you saying they lose potency when we do?
I'm really asking here since I don't know myself. But it seems to me that if I have goats/pigs/chickens/flies/worms, they can break down that stuff much faster than the barrel can then to make them spreadable on a field, we can make compost teas or even just put them in the barrel for whatever time. Wouldn't the composted/broken down forms of the plants be better than the "raw" forms?
Your truck weighs more, but still a great idea.
