Funny thing is there is no guitar used in this song. It’s all drums and synthesizer. Only 2 tracks in Doom 2016 have the guitar in them, Rip and Tear and BFG Division

I feel this song perfectly sums up the DOOM experience. The non-stop tension, the unrelenting and bombastic guitars, and of course the haunting choir singing a chorus of DAMNATION. They paint a picture of a dark and forsaken universe where GOD has abandoned us and there's only one man standing between HELL and HUMANITY. A man who himself is no longer human yet continues to fight no matter the suffering he brings onto himself. He is here.
Wouldn’t say abandoned, but rather let Hell unleash itself on mankind for their sins. Or simply hell was too full.

BFG Division got all the popularity in the DOOM2016 soundtrack, and no shade against that song it's a fantastic song, but this is truly the crown jewel. A perfect fit for ripping and tearing your way through the Kadangur Sanctum of Hell.
The brutal shredding, the chaotic industrial drums, the Hell Choir itself, it all just comes together beautifully and is just *chef's kiss*

not gonna lie I got goosebumps when this was playing in the background especially when that choir starts, the track pumped me up, wrecking demons with Gauss cannon and shotgun on hell when this is playing in the background is one of the best thing I've experienced, thank you for producing such a wonderful soundtracks for one of my favourite video game franchise can't wait for doom eternal.
I can’t help but think that the squealing in the background during halfway in the soundtrack are the sounds of rabbits in Doom Slayer’s head, reminding him what he’s fighting for in the first place

So this is what Titan's Realm actually is.
Not gonna lie, I think I prefer 2016's music to Eternal. Eternal's music isn't bad, it's just different in that it had more of a steady rhythm to it (i.e. you can almost dance to songs like The Only Thing They Fear is You, it's got a natural flow to it) whereas 2016 music was crazy chaotic and built up to those insane crescendos. It better fit the erratic combat and it felt like the music could deliver a drop at any second to compliment a dramatic moment. This song perfectly captures that.

I also like a lot of the more ambient music in 2016 than eternal's ambience, a lot of it was just more futuristic and cooler sounding

sure! it's fine to like things, you know. Besides, Eternal's ost fits its game narratively and in terms of the flow, it throws much more shit at you but still retains a consistent "flow" you've mentioned that keeps you (and by extention, Doom Guy) concentrated. And also levels weren't all futuristic or all hell anymore. So it would make sense that you would like 2016's more, it's just focused on delivering a different point of view on the slayer and the environment

This has to be one of the first few songs from DOOM that gave me goosebumps before ever picking up any of the games. Mick Gordon's music is the reason I started playing DOOM 2016.

I believe i was within the top 100 66 i believe in place for the hardest dofffor kadanigir sanctum worldwide. The music of the level gets ingrained in your memory after awhile and i havent listened to it for a time, super badass nostalgia

I just realised DOOM 2016 was 7 years ago. Soon this game will be as old to some kids as the 1993 version is to us now.
I'm no good a shooters, thus rarely enjoy them for long periods. But this track... this track made me say I NEED to replay this level numerous times. It is simply incredible. I am sorry I never heard it sooner, and apologize for once again being late to the party
