I’ve commented already, but I keep coming back to this bag! I’ve looked for the “right one” for my daughter for awhile and am convinced this is the one for her! I’m very terrible at color combos myself but have an idea with cord on hand. My colors in the pics are different than your directions. What did you use for your right most color? I see a light sand and a type of mustard. Either might work, but the yellowish might be more appealing if I knew what it was? Thank you! I’ve watched this 2times and I know I can do this! I’m so excited as I’ve not given her anything I’ve made yet. I wanted it to be special for her 💞 Thank you for any help you give to make this the best I can give her 😊 I follow all your work! Hi Jean, my colors are : saffron yellow, rotten apple and gray. I buy my cords locally here in Greece to avoid shipping fees. I am sure you can find beautiful colors! you could try Bobbiny braided cord 5mm.
@@myTotalHandmade thank you for your suggestion. I’m still struggling to find the right colors. I have both of the bag colors since I noticed you had updated the original tutorial with these new colors. I’ve reached out to Bobbiny for assistance and am waiting for their reply. You had suggested braided, but I do love working with single strand. I’ve gone so far as to create a PINTREST category of the color wheel and anything on combining colors..lol. Combining colors is truly not my strength, so I save some tutorials, simply for their colors that work well together! 😆. This is such a beautiful bag that I do not want to disgrace your artistry by screwing up the colors. I know I’ve commented too much on this and apologize. In its own way, it is a huge compliment to have someone love your work this much. I will try to struggle in silence now 😂

Not possible for now.. just use the one cord from each color ti tie a larks head knot. Tuck the other cord.

You can use hot glue or fabric glue to secure the edges. An inner bag will be great too.
So if I want the body to be bigger, do I add more rows to the bottom? Trying to figure it out in my head.
You add rows in all the three squares. They must be equal.

Thank you. Sorry for confusion. I meant the length of the cord. For example 24 cords at 240cm? Thank you
Please pause the video at 0:13 and you will see the 12 cords in the center have 2.4m length, the next 6 (3 in each side 2.2m), the next 6 (3 in each side 2m). This way you will save some cord, or if you wish you can cut them all the 24 in 2.4m length but you will have long leftovers.
