This song means so much to me. It's what cemented them as being important to me for the rest of my life and ultimately why I decided to get a BTS tattoo. I have many tattoos but no other tributes to musicians 💜 Great video and glad you picked up on most of the meaning of the song, however I will say I think it's deeper than you realise. JK wrote this song for army. It's based on a book called Into the Magic Shop, which is a book about how a neurosurgeon with a traumatic upbringing went into a magic store when he was 12 and instead of buying what he went there to buy, he ended up talking to a woman who taught him how to ease his suffering and the relationship between mind and heart (compassion). JK was influenced by this book and wrote this song for army. He's not only saying to create a good place in your mind he's saying "you gave me the best of me, so you'll give you the best of you" i.e. BTS feels like army made bts who they are, which is this amazing group. Therefore we should direct the same compassion and care towards ourselves. And to also let BTS be our magic shop, the place where we are safe and loved. Sorry for the long post 😂💜

This song means so much to me. It's what cemented them as being important to me for the rest of my life and ultimately why I decided to get a BTS tattoo. I have many tattoos but no other tributes to musicians 💜
Great video and glad you picked up on most of the meaning of the song, however I will say I think it's deeper than you realise. JK wrote this song for army. It's based on a book called Into the Magic Shop, which is a book about how a neurosurgeon with a traumatic upbringing went into a magic store when he was 12 and instead of buying what he went there to buy, he ended up talking to a woman who taught him how to ease his suffering and the relationship between mind and heart (compassion). JK was influenced by this book and wrote this song for army. He's not only saying to create a good place in your mind he's saying "you gave me the best of me, so you'll give you the best of you" i.e. BTS feels like army made bts who they are, which is this amazing group. Therefore we should direct the same compassion and care towards ourselves. And to also let BTS be our magic shop, the place where we are safe and loved.

Even though I cry every time I hear this song it is my favorite. It’s comforting to me. If I’m having a bad day this is my go to song!!! I think we all want to make others feel better or even avoid feeling bad. But we need to work through those bad feelings. And FEEL them. Ignored feelings always come up later.

I pray ypu get to see them in concert when they return. I had the privilege of seeing this concert in 2018 and again twice in 2019 and it was mesmerizing! I literally felt so loved.....and I have carried those concert moments in my heart for years now.
And Love Yourself Tear is a masterpiece album for sure!
