I'm a student pilot and train on a DA20, it's tiny but the pedals can be adjusted. On the one I use there is a small handle in the middle that you can pull to move them forward or backward (you can see the rail between the pedals) and thankfully the stalls are not at all this dramatic😅

The DA 20 was my real-life trainer.

When I flew the predecessor version, the DA20, I never had so much fun. It’s so agile, very direct contrary to the sluggish 152s and 172s, a really amazing small plane to fly. In Quebec back in the days, we did practice spins and this one was thrilling but yes, a little scary. Also, you absolutely need to control your approach speed otherwise, you’ll find yourself gliding all the way above the runway, unable to loose speed and get down! It happened to me when a controller asked me if I could expedite my approach because a twin was coming up behind me. Out of politeness, I said yes… well I had to go-around for the first time in my life! Anyway, have fun!

Wow, that spin was ... exciting ;) But it seems that the real plane handles stalls a lot better. Anyway, I actually like the DV20 in the sim. Beautifully modelled, great visibility, easy to handle in the normal envelope :)

If only the flaps drag / wing profile wouldn't be fcked up. :(
The first version were more-or-less correct but since the update more than a year ago when flaps of all the planes got useless the DV20 is ruined.
Yes, it likes to glide IRL too but you can descend with minimum power around -20 pitch still keeping the 65-70kts approach speed on full flaps. In the sim the full flaps has less drag than the T/O flaps IRL.
Asobo doesn't care about this little gem and since it's encrypted no one can repair this issue. :(

Speaking of VR, I just got my Reverb G2 on Wednesday and so far I'm liking it. Not perfect, but I'm thinking that is a problem with me having to wear bifocals but I do like it.

You can get snap on prescription lenses for this VR set, so you don't have to wear your glasses inside.

@@howardthu That's good to know. I'll have to look into that.

@@RickHowell89 totally worth it. You can either buy them ready to go online, or 3d print holders for cheap lenses off of one of the online glasses stores. Either way it made VR so much better for me.
