Aliens Arcade OST

Couldn't find this soundtrack from one of my favorite arcade games so decided to upload it. Used a program called M1 to grab the audio from ROM: rbelmont.mameworld.info/?page_...
Tracks are quite short so most are looped twice. Video is loop from attract mode and ending with credits.

thanks for great upload...when a kid, the amount of coins i put into the machine to finish the game..then later on, this guy joined, like 5 years older than me, we used to get to level 5 on 1 credit..good old times

Have you ever tried to defeat the final boss with just the Pulse Rifle instead of the mech ? If you deal the Queen the fatal blow with it, her body will burst and the pieces will be dragged through the sas !
She's still seen complete and screaming with rage in the endgame cinematic though...

On the cover of the arcade board they put a Ripley with long blonde hair, and Newt wears different clothes from the one in the movie, very different from the original version of the movie, the game was not published on the console of the time due to the high price of the original license of the film that Konami paid to use the characters, vehicles and scenes of the film
There were two versions of it, the American and the Japanese, the latter had the original colors of the enemies and different changes in the stages and there was neither the APC nor Newt who is rescued in the second tour with the APC
A detail of the sprites of the enemies when they die, the animations were created looking only from the right side to the left side, if the enemies that come from the left side are killed they die looking to the left never to the right

That's because the OPM/YM2151 chip also uses 4-op FM synth, like the FM chip in the MD. It has 2 additional channels though and a couple of unique features which make it distinct.
