The pain never really goes away. Obviously I've moved on near 20 years later, but somehow the mama that cared for me so much and taught me right from wrong - the pain just never really goes away. The good things - dad is going to be 80 years old March 21. The good things - she left a legacy of studying my dads family - last name Monsrud. I now have friends from Denmark with this internet that are named Monsrud from her and a couple other elder family women that worked hard to make a huge family tree book. Her legacy is that book to our family, but her real legacy stands with me. She and dad adopted me cuz she wasn't able to bear her own kids for medical reasons - not drugs or anything. I grew up on a farm with clean blood and parents willing to adopt a 1/2 year old baby such as I was. Yah. I miss mama bad.
I know how painful it feels to lost one of our parents. I also lost my father, he died one day before his birthday and he was buried in his birthday. But i still have my mother, she's going 61 this year. I'm sure your mama watch and smiling for you from heaven =)
