I think Abraxis, Vulgrim and the others had made a bet regarding how long it would take Fury to realize the truth about her Watcher, and kept dropping hints about it without telling her directly.

@@Mustafa_9628 Well, given her name, I feel that was the intention. War can be a tad bit hardheaded, but he's shown to be rather quick on his feet and rather honorable/mature (which is understandable given his name). Fury on the other hand, comes off like the bratty child of the bunch.

The amount of times Darksiders can drop hints about a twist, and still have the twist catch you off guard is expert writing.

To be honest, that's pretty much fury throughout the game.
Actually i hate this game especially when i start the 1st horsemans darksiders as War. Acutually like kill monster without clear motives. But after seeing the 3rd, i actually understand it and the timeline. This game colored text actually like a personification about something. Like what could made and apocalypse it is war, death (someone with power like WW1), fury (like america in trump leadership that always pressing other country) and strife.
Noble Phantazm are you dumb? The only reason i made trump as example simply because his impulsive character that even break the role as president. Pressing other country to accept syria refugee while the other hand forbid mexican refugee to US. Not even could did what he ask from other country yet tried to be a hero. Play like a child in US council like not shake hand with senator that wanna impeach him. Gave other example that express fury other than him that known worldwide (not a dictator since dictator word=god words)
Abraxis is cool and everything but Samael is just way too awesome, I miss him in this new game
50 bucks says he'll be in "Darksiders 4" if they ever wise up and make it.

Well, the Lord of the Hollows said that he is the vessel, so "becoming" a trinket (that serves as a vessel for the gathered souls) follows the story of his act of penance.
So I didn't fight him and still didn't get the trinket

I don't think he turned himself into it. I think he faded out of existence, like Yoda did. I'm pretty sure the relic was the cumulation of all the Souls and Hollows he harvested. That's the whole reason he was collecting them in the first place. To give Humanity and The Horsemen a chance to beat The Charred Council.
Darksiders 4 you play as strife and darksiders 5 it's a open world 4 player multiplayer

Four single player campaigns where we play out the stories of each horsemen and their fight against Heaven, Hell, The Charred Council, and those between because I doubt it's going to be the four remaing together permanently in their war and have to separate from time to time.

Something to note because the video wasnt clear on the mysterious sigil from the hollow guy: you have to kill abraxis AND choose to spare the hollow guy to get it. I chose not to fight abraxis and couldn't change the option after and now I cant get the sigil. I am pretty salty being this far and now I cant get it.

The council decided to free the seven sins and send strife and fury on diffeent mission so they could separeted the horseman and hopefully kill them in action. And then rule alone
I finished the game after killing Abraxis waiting for something to happen because of it. Everytime you need to speak with the Lord of Hollows you get transported to him, so why was this different? I tried to find him before the final boss and he wasn't in his "throne room".
What does acquiring Abraxis's soul do if you can get the Relic from LotH with or without it?
So it seems like Sparing LotH doesn't depend on the decision made at abraxis, based on what I've seen.
Spare LotH - Get Relic, affects ending.
Kill LotH - Optional Boss, no relic.
Kill Abraxis - Optional Boss, Get Soul, does ??
Spare Abraxis - Just a little extra flavor lore about how he serves the destroyer?
I'm also wondering if anything happens if you agree to kill the Lord, and then return to Abraxis afterward after either decision (returning to him after killing LotH, or returning to him with the LotH sacrificing himself.).
I think it plays into Lord of Hollows initial test if you think about it
If you kill abraxis and get his souls,give it to lord of hollow,dont fight him but spare him,at the ending after final fight,furry use the sigil lord of hollow and the charred council afraid of that sigil coz sigil of lord hollow can kill charred council.
If you kill lord hollow you wont get the sigil.after the fight with envy,charred council overpowered furry,furry retreat.
@@hisyamamirudiin26 not killing the lord is not influenced by killing/not killing Abraxxis. So i do wonder what his soul is for as you getting the relic from the lord is depending just on sparing him regardless of why you came to him for final time to begin with.
You can not trigger the option to Kill or Spare the Lord of Hollows until you meet up with Abraxis. His soul is simply to prove to the LoHs that you killed him. It serves no other purpose in the game.
The Item Obtained From The LoTh resembles the item That Death Gave The Crow Father

Freya Lunar When you spoke to the Lord for the final power up, he stated "the next time we meet. Only one of us shall live." I think that was foreshadowing, implying that in this game that it was the correct choice to confront him

What values do the items have? Is the soul just a way to ensure Abraxis doesn't come back? Will the next games' stories depend on these decisions since letting Abraxis live and collecting the Sigil could make a big difference in the outcome? Are they gonna make us wait till Darksiders 4 (or till 5) to see if these consequences matter at all? I'm already impatient due to the suspense!

When the Lord of hollow was speaking about the Humanity true potential I'd was thinking about the game in Diablo that the humans true potential by being a nephilim and their our very powerful.
I think Humanity can choose to become an Angel or Demon, but maintain their humanity. Unlike Angels or Demons who 'lose their way', Humanity can stay the course

The moment TLoH mentioned humanity, i knew sparing him is the correct choice.
I didn't witness this scene because I quit the game right soon after I killed Wrath in the lowlands, so when I loaded my game, I spawned at the beginning of the Lowlands and was stuck because Wrath was already dead and the elevator was gone. So I had to use Vulgrim's portal to go to Pride directly. So I never met Abraxis and the Lord of Hollows still lives in my save game even though I finished the story.

Ok can someone explain to me, I spared The Lord but I didn't get a medallion or anything, she just walks away with the Walker asking "did you kill him". Why is that?
Hate how almost impossible to find this ending is.
I got lost so many times in that last level i just gave up on exploring as all i was finding was useless trinkets that all look the same, but here it is in one of those identical looking corridors there is the plot someone forgot to put into the main game.

So i did something weird, I didn't kill Abraxis or the Lord of hollows, The end result is i didn't get the amulet from the LoH and it played out as if i had killed him, although i still got the cutscene where the LoH evaporates.
What happens when you beat Abraxis, is there a different interaction between you and the lord of the hollows?

I couldn't take Abraxis' soul to Lord of Hollows because the Lord of Hollows wasn't in his hideout at the time and still isnt.

I expected the talisman to at least conjure a shield to protect Fury. Thought it might activate or something when it sensed the Charred Council's motive to attack. It did nothing!

Is missing a cutscene if you have that sigil (kill Abraxis and spare LotH)! It triggers before entering the council chamber. ... Is not a big deal, it just emphasize the importance of that relic.
Just a heads up for anybody wanting to do this, Abraxas and the LoH disappear after beating pride
