Very nice video :) You did highlight AB as an example of a triggered ability, but its actually a replacement effect. Though this does feed very nicely into Tim's point of "most of the time, but not always the word 'if' signifies a triggered ability" 8:04

i'd like to know more about the interaction you can have between arcane damage dealt during an oponent turn and spectral shield.
Spectral shields deserve their own video for sure. Definitely on the list of potential rules video topics.
So, Matt was still sharking people?
In this specific example? No.
He simply forgot and misplayed. He readily accepted the judge's ruling on the floor and owned up to the mistake in some interviews.
If there are instances of questionable behavior I would advise to bring them to the TO and judge staff.
