Who is the Call of Duty GOAT and why?
crim: timespan, winnings.
clay is arguably higher on the “esports legends” list though.
If clay wins champs its not up for debate, he's the goat
But BigT will always be my goat
Karma 3 lan rings
Karma or Crim. So debatable.
Clayster is my favorite pro player ever
Definitely one of the greatest ever 💪
Grayster?
I agree and it’s insane how people don’t like him he’s good has an amazing mind for the game and his passion is only match by doug also everyone loves a underdog and he’s a goat but has never been favored I’d rather see my favored
Finally a podcast with Clay. That's my GOAT.
He truly is the peoples champ!

KARMA>>>>>
Are you Hydra's brother Hydro?
It’s a shame Merk and Maven don’t have more of a spot in the CDL. Thankful for Ultra for giving them more FaceTime in this scene.
Clayster gets thrown to the wolves and always comes back leading the pack 😎 🐺
Been waiting for an episode like this for time.
Guests have been great as of the past few episodes. Good work as always
I could listen to Joe and Clay talk for hours!!! MerK being nice and not letting ‘em know who won that first CoD XP event 😏
Thank you clay for coming on. This was much needed content out of you. 🙏🙏
Clay has a ring from every cod developer it’s crazy people still doubt him
Holy shit this the whole beginning of clays story is literally the start of my passion for competitive call of duty. That’s crazy! If I didn’t mess my life up I think I could have been along side you man good shit
Listening to this while playing Diablo beta on my day off was exactly what I needed, thanks y’all
This is becoming my favourite podcast no question! KEEP GOING PLZ!
Great episode boys! Gotta love Clay man dude has had the craziest career ever
By far my favourite player to listen to talk. What a guy.
That was the most honest interview ive ever heard I love these 3
Great podcast boys! Joe and maven iconic duo with an iconic player! Keep up the good work 👏🏻
Man, I love Clay. Merk and Clay are two of my very favorite CoD personalities, so this was a treat.
Would love to see Clay coach after his career, the spirit and composure this guy brings on game day is unmatched.
Loved this one! Clay has a good vibe
I hope they keep this show going the culture needs it. We need more shows to support the league
Great content guys
MY GOAT
Clay ya was always one of my favorites. I am a complexity og and was cheering for you during denial and faze times.
Watching Clay play at the Toronto challengers tournament was magical
I'm an OpTic fan but I must admit, I've always had love for Clay. Legendary personality and player. One of the greats. I can't speak for everyone but I always have my team I support/die-hard for and then, that one team that you wish well, this year for me, it's Legion and Clay 👌
I love clay so much. He’s been amazing for so long
One of the best episodes ever
My goat 🥺
Great guest can’t wait to watch clay Eubanks is a fkn CoD classic. Well spoken good head on his shoulders and passionate as anyone else
It was crazy because I saw Clayster on campus back in Morgantown back in 2009 when I first started following professional COD. Unreal that I’ve followed this crazy career of the ultimate COD hype man.
W podcast. We love Clay 🤍🫶🏻
After listening I appreciate Clay way more and what he’s made of his career.
absolute legend of esports
loved seeing clay on this episode
Everyone loves clayster and great interview
Clay is my goat! been following him since bo2
I want to see clay win one more ring. I’m going to be rooting for Paris so hard.
Paris😂😂😂😂
You mean Vegas legion lol
Brother that is a stretch on this squad
@@thannydevitos2332 idk they looked good even with 2real trying to throw and temp and clay have actully been frying also tj has been really solid this year if standy comes in and fits it could be a scary squad
@@atake_plays7784 you're not going to win shit without control and they're god awful at it, and the other top teams are just better at the other 2 game modes
More and more interviews please!!!!!!!!!
Just the GOAT
Clay is one of the only people who can match the vibeyness of the Merk and Maven duo
Clay is definitely one of my favorite guys in the league.. I wish he would have had another year with scump :D I liked them teaming together.
YESSSS CLAY 🐐🐐🐐
Respect Clay your a beast!
Maven & Merk are goats for this podcast. These are the type of questions I've been wanting people to ask. Usually the people hosting the podcasts have too much of a ego and arent really fans of the players bc they're players themselves so it's a weird dynamic.
JEEEZE GRAYSTER. 🏆💪🏾
LEGION IS EVERYONES DARK HORSE FOR CHAMPS BRO, WE LOVE CLAY AND THE BOYS, PLUS STANDYS REVENGE TOUR
Clay is such a good personality
Now this is content
So crazy how I used watched these guys compete against each other in bo2
Knowing clay was about to out m8 merk
You gotta think…. Clayster being able to bring Legion from zero to contenders might make him the greatest CoD pro when everything is taken into consideration other than maybe scump. (Especially if we’re talking just the old heads) The wins, the length of career, the iconic moments, and his ability to elevate the team he’s on… just might be enough to push him ahead Crim.
how cn you compare scump to clay as greatest cod pro? scump only really starting winning actually events when crim/karma/formal came to save the day. clays been winning for a long time, and has won several champs and changed entire teams after getting dropped. scump hasn't done any of that, he's always been protected by Optic so he's never had to go elsewhere to do anything. crim/karma sure, but scumps not in that convo
@@kieranwatt1937 cool
Clay is the actual goat. Him and Damon both had to do alot more than the status quo
@@kieranwatt1937 alright man im not just going to let you lie. mw3 before the dynasty optic ran that game. bo1 he won events in before joining optic for mw3. won in bo2 and ghosts with nadeshot, proofy, clay, bigt and merk. none of those are terrible players but cmon. absolutley no disrespect to clay one of the goats a worldclass person just a great guy competitor everything. however clay joined the col trio which became a dynasty then that team dropped him for karma and col continued winning. he won a bunch in aw then went winless for 4 years with 2 prestigious orgs. he didnt win an event until eu got simp. and he won in mw. he was a great player in all those teams but scump was typically t1 or 2 player of every team he was on. won with or without any of the dynasty players. if he stay loyal to optic and joined col when he had the chance hed be unanimous goat. scumps career is just as long as clayster while running smg.
@@jasonarmstrong9656 He won in ghosts with x games, and do you remember what the prize pool for that event was? I'll remind you. IT WAS ZERO. The teams were hand picked to join, the next event was anahiem and coL knocked them out and went on to win it i believe. Scumps best placing before jetpack cod/crim/formal/karmsa was T3A WITH boze, nade and CLAYSTER. That's the best placing he's ever had on BOTG COD.
Clay has been dropped and went and built a winning team, scumps never had to do that once,. BO1 was so long ago you do realise that? the competition/ceiling for skill was so poor back then - there's a reason he struggled the last few years to win anything when the goats the dynasty.
Also MW3 they won the event playing with heartbeat censors and it was like within a week or 2 of the game being out lol...
we need a call of duty hall of fame bc the three in this vid gotta be on the ballot
Amazing fucking podcast shoutout clayster the greatest to ever do it
We love Clay! Make champs Vegas, it’s not the same without clay 😢
55:00 this is why clay the goat to me ong
Clay is really the goat bro
Clay is the goat!
Goat
Grayster ❤
crimsix dropped clayster 3 times and they both have 3 world championships rings!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking love Clay man, not a single player in the league that cares about it as much as he does
Bro I’ve been watching clay since black ops 2 and I’ll always remember how he would dominate games because no one could touch him with that m8
Clay da goat
Having a ringer was crazy times
The peoples champ!! the only one with a GOAT case not from the optic dynasty btw
abe and simp are up there too now.
What people don’t understand cod4 changed call of duty for every cod after. The hype around cod4 was similar to when warzone dropped but on steroids. COD made a name for itself similar to the halo and gears and we haven’t looked back since
I never played any online game before, saw my friends dad playing it and talking to people and i was like wtfff he's chatting to people from America and it's like real people he's shooting. I was hooked ever since then, but WAW is what pulled me in and then OFC MW2 dropped and it changed COD forever. the first trailer for when MW2 released i had legit goosebumps
@@kieranwatt1937 I played ghost recon advanced warfare as my first multiplayer game which I loved but once I played cod4 at my friends house I was hooked. Started grinding GB got good enough where I would level up accounts and sell them for Microsoft points so nerds can say they had a low GB rank in the forums and get on a good team… the good days
Turn on dark mode or turn on the orange filter on your computer so you don’t get flash banged
I MISS CLAYSTER AND CROWSTER
Clay is a goat
11:58 what game did maven start playin diablo res?
Damn, they didn't talk about the Optic stint?????
Watched the full thing. Clay, Kids, Wife - in that order
💜
Want to see Clay have more success so I can proudly call him the goat over that snake Crimsix
Clay was so much better than Crim at MW man. Should never have been dropped.
10:16 how you get unbanned? I was banned on GB a year ago for nothing and I’ve gotten no help :(
W
this convo is the reason why i dont feel bad for crimsix or aches. they have always been the scumbags. they did anything and everything to step on people.
Optic with clay had a chance to send Complexity to the losers bracket and lock in top seed at ghosts champs if they hold a 14 point Sov dom lead at the half! Call me crazy, but the scump/clay hype if they were the team to come out of winners bracket might have been enough to have them win champs that year. Throw your "CoL had 4 guys over a 1.2 KD" stats out the window, clay comes different in grudge matches, those pool play inflated K/ds were about to get exposed if optic puts CoL down in the winners finals
mboze had a worldclass disaster class to throw that series him and nade. god that one still doesnt sit right. optic couldve definitley won another bo5 in gf if they came from winners. scump was such a hard carry at that game.
@@jasonarmstrong9656 he was solid at SnD and tbh the only way that team was winning against CoL was through clutch Snd, OR a scump 40 bomb in Dom. Series still haunts me seeing what at the time was a convincing lead going into the half, followed by a collapse on Sov, followed by a 6-0 on warhawk. Reliving my nightmare
I swear someone is listening to something in the background at certain points.
HIMSTER
Nah Crim did him so dirty in Vanguard. Talked so much shit about him while Clay was just chilling on the bench. Was really bad.
Crowster hahahaha
That ponytail just looks like it stinks
whos watching videos in the call during the podcast wtf so unprofessional
Man! Maven is so distracting to me. He has ADHD or something. Constantly moving around and doesn’t engage. I like this format and enjoy listening to the pros, but this guy is just too much. I won’t be tuning in again.
Great episode but nah clay biggest sore loser ever
? Weirdo
The ponytail is like when the beatles took LSD and grew moustaches, good shit came from it bro!
MJ is an extremely popular choice for GOAT of NBA, but if I got to create a team of any players, he doesn't make my team. Same goes for crim and scump, they aren't making my dream team (for different reasons, none of which are gunskill/mechanics, same with MJ and his ability to score/dominate,) as it's not about an individuals skill or accolades, it's a team game.
Clay is my goat, been saying it for years, he does more with less. Gave a lot of the best players some sleepless nights, tossing and turning, "He can't keep getting away with this!"
Also, people would be surprised to learn how many of the current GOATs of professional sports have what Phil Jackson was to MJ(well bulls and the lakers), a sports psychologist. Doubt he wins back to back to back - and back to back to back, without Phil being an eastern philosophy and other soul fulfilling ideologies lover ie: the zen master; helping them understand that you can only control what you can control, how to manage not only the ego but also the self doubt that comes with losing, and other stuff like being upset about a bad play that just happened doesn't change that play and playing the blame game during competition doesn't help anyone but the opponent, clear your mind and focus up! Especially in this christian dominated country of worshipping kings and popes and presidents and "alpha males" - wanting to make mountainous mythological deities out of people that are just human beings, that constant ego stroking can corrupt and poison your mind, look at that trump fella --- head so far up his own behind he can smell his tonsils -- and people keep on willingly feeding into the delusion which is getting worse and worse.
