2024/07/14 S Filomena @ Santuario di S Filomena, Mugnano del Cardinale

This santuario is originally named Madonna di Grazie. We came here for S Filomena, but it happened to be the local feast day for La Madonna di Grazie! So I concelebrated with the rector and vicar general at 10am. There was also a procession with the beautiful statue of Our Lady of Graces at noon. In this sanctuary are the bones and a vial of blood of S Filomena, whose name means the daughter of light, or beloved in Greek.
