Of course the comparison thing is going to start, it happened with BP and 2NE1. I've gotten to the point that it's a Kpop fan thing to do. What makes it funny is everyone expects the YG sound yet some fans are disappointed that it sounds like a BP song. Well, read the lyrics and absorb the scenes in the video and you'll see what they and the producers are doing. It's also a video of them paying homage to their senior YG artists especially Blackpink. The final dance break was their way of introducing themselves to the world and it's their turn at bat.

BABYMONSTER is a group formed by YG ENTERTAINMENT (BLACKPINK, TREASURE, BIGBANG, SOMI, ETC) all the young people appear in Auditions that the company holds in Korea, Thailand and Japan, there they choose those they see with potential and when They are notified and must appear at the company. In the case of young people from Thailand and Japan, they move alone to Korea, where they begin training for 4 or 6 years where they are given dance, singing, and language classes, especially Korean for songs. and be able to communicate, etc., plus I think they should attend normal school. In all that time they must go through a series of evaluations and eliminations. In the videos that they made the public see, they present the LATEST EVALUATIONS which they uploaded on their CZcams channel (BABYMONSTER, YG ENTERTAINMENT), which has 8 chapters, in addition to the presentation chapters of each member, 1 DANCE PERFORMANCE VIDEO and 4 Behind the scenes chapters. In this video you can see some of the scenes of these evaluations and what they had to go through, as you may have seen the group is made up of 7 members in order of departure in the video: Chiquita, Rora, Ahyeon, Pharita, Haram, Ahyeon, Ruka (1 Rapper), Asa (2 Rapper), Chiquita, Ahyeon and Chiquita (Armonia), Haram, Rora, Haram, Ahyeon, Rora, Haram, Chiquita and Haram (Armonia), Ahyeon and Pharita (Armonia), Chiquita. Their ages range from 14 to 21 years and they were training for almost 5 years. In the case of Chiquita, who is the youngest of the group, she only spent 1 year and 9 months in total. Three months after arriving at YG, she joined the project. BABYMONSTER, until now, is the one who spent the least amount of time as an apprentice. Their positions for now are: Chiquita (Singer, Ballerino, Rapper (is learning), Maknae - Thai); Rora (Vocalist and Dancer - Korean); Ahyeon (Leader, Vocalist, Rapper, Ballerino - Korean); Pharita (Vocalist and Dancer - Thai); Haram (Vocalist, Rapper and Ballerina - Korean) and finally we have the 2 Rappers and dancers: Ruka (the oldest) and Asa - Japanese; They really haven't said the profile of each one yet but this is what we have seen in the Evaluations program and it is also what appears on GOOGLE, the song DREAM came out as a PRE - DEBUT song because they have not debuted yet, it is expected that they will do this year.
