  • SeaWorld San Antonio in Texas is the newest and largest SeaWorld park. This is a beautiful park with animal shows, aquatic exhibits, and a strong roller coaster lineup. With the recent addition of Tidal Surge, I will countdown this park's top 10 rides in this video.

    Rode them all last week, and the swing was the most intense!

      That's a fun one, but I find some of the coasters wilder.

    I totally agree that the animal exhibits & shows are a fundamental part of a SeaWorld experience. For me, I've got Texas Stingray in the top spot, although I still love Steel Eel. I'm prepared for those abrupt landings, so they always make me laugh.
    Including Aquatica, Ihu's Breakaway Falls would be in my # 3 spot. The body slide tower with Tonga Twister & Kiwi Curl would be # 4. All of those body slides are long & fast. Tonga Twister is especially cool with the enclosed aqualucent tubes. I'm sure you know the secret, but for those that don't know, wearing a t-shirt or even a water shirt on a body slide will slow you down. Rear-ends up off the slide too. To go the fastest, only skin should be touching the slide: heels & shoulder blades.

      Ihu's is an amazing slide at Orlando and I'm glad it was cloned. Maybe I'll check this location out in the future.

    San Antonio is a fine get away destination for me from Houston, TX. A MUST is a night time walk on the river walk. The two parks offered are TOPS! Being a lover of engineering, the columns for many of the rides are very interesting.

    The potential for SeaWorld San Antonio is massive, and honestly, with how much land they have, it would make sense for them to just double down and make a second gate of a Busch Gardens Texas if they want to truly compete with their big brother in town, Fiesta Texas

    I prefer Stingray as the #1 in this park. But Steel Eel is also very good. I just wish Steel Eel had padded seats so the landing after air time hills didn’t hurt as much.

    I really want to like Steel Eel more. And when I first rode it over a decade ago I really liked it. But in my follow ups the landings have just been too painful. And it means I end up bracing my legs and arms to hold myself up to prevent slamming my butt on the seat and this leads to the inability to enjoy the airtime. For those who aren't bothered by the impact I totally understand loving Steel Eel. But I just can't fully enjoy it with that repeated pounding.

    Steel Eel is one of the weirdest coasters Ive ridden...and you pointed it out.
    Ive never ridden amother coaster that makes you feel like youre legit falling, complete with a hard landing getting slammed in the seat
    I dont think it was uncomfortable either. just weird.
    One of the funniest weird thing I love to point out is San Antonio has 2 batmam clones and neither are named Batman lol

    Stingray if you like the speed and Steel Eel if you’re into an abundance of floater air. It’s a coin flip for me

  • @Thuggysmurf
    @Thuggysmurf Před rokem

    1) Tidal Surge, 2) Great White, 3) Steel Eel, 4) Texas Stingray. If Batman clones didn't exist and Great White was the only one of its kind, enthusiasts wouldn't subconsciously dock it so many points. Tidal Surge at #1 may be a case of Newride-itis, but I've ridden it over a dozen of times and when visiting again in a couple weeks, it's still the ride I'm most looking forward to. Texas Stingray is fun, but when considering that Mystic Timbers (best GCI?) is 3 years older, it's a little disappointing, in the same way that SWSA phoned it in on Journey to Atlantis compared to the same ride at other Sea World parks.

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  Před rokem

      I agree Batman clones would be more loved if they weren't cloned as often.

    Rank the 11 attractions at EPCOT. I know you already did a video regarding the top 10, but what was the one attraction that didn't make the list? Also, re-rank them as a reply to my comment. :)

    Sea World San Antonio has 10 rides? I thought maybe you would have to pad the list by adding Texas Splashdown. (Texas Splashdown no longer exists.) Goes to show what happens when one doesn't visit a park for several years.

    Was here not even 2 weeks ago, unfortunately I went on one of the only times a year it rains in Texas but I got in what I could. Steel Eel is a surprisingly good Morgan mini hyper coaster. Texas Stingray is a veetly aggressive wooden coaster, probably my favorite GCI. And Wave Breaker is a fun little coaster. The collection is enough to have a lot of fun and the new Screamin Swing is A LOT of fun.
