I love how Qyburn and Pycelle argue
Hehe, Angry Old Men.
Could listen to Iain Glen’s voice allllllll night...
He has narrated the rogue prince and the dance of the dragons novels
@@mobiggcro he did dance of dragons?! How’d I miss that
The Greyjoys: laugh at Sam's idea of democracy
Also the Greyjoys: elect their king through the kingsmoot.
To be fair, kingsmoot is Greyjoy 1% only
D&D kinda forgot the greyjoys elect their king
As someone else already stated, it's not the same as Sam proposed. Sam talked about even peasants getting a vote; the Greyjoy Kingsmoot was all about Iron Island nobility.
At the end that's basically what the Iron Throne ended up as, the Six Kingdoms' take on the Iron Islander Kingsmoot.

1:10:46 - The Great Tourney at Harrenhal by Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick)
1:16:53 - Vaes Dothrak by Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen)
Thank you for all that info.
You cannot get enough praise for this, thank you
not every hero wears a cape
Seven Blessings to you ser
you should edit it “Young” Eddard Stark. would’ve loved Sean Bean doing his narrations, Aramayo does a good job though.
I like the way Jorah Mormont pronounces 'Essos'
I think real life history should be narrated in this way more often
Ted talks animtated sort of have the same feel to it. Really good as well
Thing with real history is, it's not fiction, so some stuff isn't as narratable.
And with history: Accuracy > Entertainment
@@rikardagren6125 the Armchair Historian does a good job with similar style videos.
@@jonerikson5925 nice, thanks for the recommendation
@@jonerikson5925 the armchair historian is notoriously pretty unreliable for that exact issue, he turns his videos into narratives and frequently allows either his own bias or the bias of his often less than reputable sources to impact his telling. Thats not to say all his stuff is bad but I wouldnt trust it as anything more then a casual overview with some inaccuracies.
love hearing baby ned talk about how much he idolized arthur
I would too if I were in Westeros, the Daynes are the best house by far!
@@masonroberts2012 the Daynes and Starfall is the most interesting house .
House Dayne is my favorite
Take a drink every time Sansa says “ancestor”.
Do you want to send us to hospital?!
17:31 :"Some northerners still sneer at my ancestor, The King who Knelt, forgetting that because of Tauren they are alive today to sneer". Not a fan of Sansa overall, but admittingly thats a pretty powerful statement.
WarCraft moment.
Is it just me or is this stuff way more interesting than the main GOT plot?
Almost..don’t go by what HBO did, the book series has a lot of details and many many differences from the series.
@@pebblesramirez9290 Good point. 👍
I'm on my third book. Book 2. Fucking shit is so interesting. I'd like to hear more about the Dragonrider who flew over essos for a whole year
The world building in GoT universe is great and very rich. You can easily spend hours just diving into the wiki following some random rabbit hole of some story that GRR Martin has only written a snippet for.

Is it a rock you want… or Me?
My father ERUPTED in fury!
A Roar went up from the crowd.
Nikolaj really delivers the lines and emotions in a touching and powerful manner.
Great storytelling!
The instrumental is also helping a great deal.
All and all excellently constructed and delivered stories.
The crowd: *roars*
The Lannisters: hol up...
Max Von Sydow will be missed. His voice is so legendary. Between Liet Kynes, The Three Eyed Raven, Esbern, Director Lambert, and many more. This guy makes fiction real for me.
If Daenerys had married Khal Moro, would she have named her dragon Moron?
Imagine if she married Khal Hardo
Hardon?
“Hardon...dracaras”
*Unsullied solder struggling to hold back a giggle*
@@Rogue.Rainbow probably wouldn't laugh unsullied can't get hardons

This is way more entertaining then the tv show
Howland Reed: these are my friends, Lady Lyanna Stark the she wolf, the wild wolf Brandon, quiet Eddard and *reads smudged writing on hand* Banjo?
Without stirrups, the Dothraki cannot actually be as effective as they are.
Come the dawn I will be reborn again. I’ve fallen many times but no matter how down keep getting back
Blackfish was and always will be the most badass Riverlander if not most badass Westerosi
Love these videos! Thank you for uploading them! And Thank the Actors for narrating them :)
Fun fact: Dawn is actually a great-sword in the books not a broadsword but the show made it a one handed blade so Arthur could dual wield and look flashier as the best swordsman in Westeros.
I would marry anyone who enjoys these tales, so beautiful
Hey😊
8:28 “Your headache now, Stark.”
Lol Max Von Sydow with that amazing voice acting
i wish hbo make a mini series about Kingswood brotherhood
Euron Greyjoy got done dirty by dumb and dumber bring in ELDRITCH APOCALYPSE!!!!
The second narrator is a young Ned Stark?
Yes its the actor who played young Ned during Robert's Rebellion
Marina Thank you. I guess Sean Bean was too expensive
@@someguy1576 No I think it fit better it was the flashback/tower of joy that season and the narration is about how young Ned admired house Dane before the rebellion. Ned was into those stories and "myths" but he became more serious after so it was better to have younger Ned's p.o.v. I'm sure Sean Bean would of loved to though he loves GOT
What if daenarys son raego was still alive but took by the dothraki in order to keep him safe after all we never really get confirmation that he is dead only her servants saw the child born
Not true, Ser Jorah killed him
Dope
59:46 anyone know which song this is? I’m trying to place it in the show and I can’t
It's the main opening song for GOT
Sad about Sam
Can anyone tell me what is what is the this GOT histories and lore? I mean this a officail GOT extra or not? If yes what is the release year?
And How someone watch the got seris in chrnology if I include histories and lore also??
Plz reply 🙏🙏🙏
these history and lore videos are mostly taken from the books Game of Thrones is based on, they were included as official extras in the boxsets of each season so this video came with the season 6 boxset in 2016. they're not available on hbo but every season's history and lore extras are on youtube in full
House Dayne is amazing
I wish we saw more sir Arthur. He was so badass for the 2 mins on screen
I fight for house Stark. Who do you fight for?
where do i get subtitles for these??
Unsuulied was so disciplined tgat dothraki couldn't do feighned retreat.
All hail Sansa, the Queen of Winter!
Yuck
Check
Nymeria married Davos Dayne.
Haha house Tarly stood for thousands of years….till they got bbq’d lol.samwell was more of a man than most men
2 guys sharing 1 wife for 100 years? Sounds rough
Wheres season 8s lore?
Don’t think they did one
They made season 8. Its very short. And I dont blame them for not putting their heart into it. After 10 years of giving us the gift of GOT, so many people complained and protested that D&D pretty much said "F YALL". The reactions from so-called fans are the reason why an artist commits suicide. But that is what happens when the world gives millions of children and narcissist a voice...
@@nebulanigrimleonis3883 the lore im talking about comes with every season dvd release
Nebula Nigrim Leonis oh fuck off that’s not what happened in the slightest D&D became too egotistical and self cantered. They were not good writers or directors from the onset, they had a contract from Star Wars and no longer cared about the thing that made them relevant. They got bitter about their racist show being cancelled and it is clear from previous interviews that they didn’t even care about the lore or the history they just wanted to become famous. They didn’t even let George have a voice for season 8 and most criticism was minuscule for the majority of the show. Do not dare talk shit about how this will make them kill themseleves or how it’s our fault their downfall is their own doing
@@nebulanigrimleonis3883 fuck you and Fuck DnD
minecraft world just be gone so crying as am watching this epic gamer lore
Sansa doesn’t know her history. The Manderlys were Andals who followed the faith of the seven and only came North after being expelled from the Reach. So they wouldn’t have fought for the starks in the Andal invasion
They swore an oath to the starks so i believe they would have honored that sworn vow over their faith
@@saulaguilar9681 They couldn't have been there in that time, that's the point.
House Tarly and Dayne come from the same. Their swords came from Bane. Each son has to earn their right to have their position. They're both far south of the 7 kingdoms not far from one another. Maybe Sam's sword is Dawn. Just my theory
As much as I love the work of GRR MARTIN, it'll always be a poor man's version of middle earth
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH FUUUUUUUCKKK NOOOOO!
Middle Earth suffers from one big problem: having clear distinction between good guys and evil orcs. Westeros is much better.
Martin: "I will make my own Middle Earth! With Blackjack! And Hookers!"
PG version of westeros
Tolkien was good at world building but average at best at character developing, george rr martin excels in both
