Unlike you at the time of my birth 6/8 of my great grandparents were alive. One of them was born during Teddy Roosevelt presidency in 1906 he died in 2006 at age 99. He and his wife were the only ones that met me and my last one died in 2016 and I never met her.
Very lucky. Age gaps play into it too tho
6 of mine were alive too 2 are still around!

I never met my great grandparents. (Except my sisters does /brother (i used " / " bc my 2 paternal great grandmas died when he was a baby). :(

Only one of my great grand parents lived to see me she has 6 grand kids and 4 great grand kids after she died when 2/3 of her kids saw her die in her sleep in 2017 when she was 95. 3 more great grand kids entered the family. In 1994 her husband died because he falled down the stairs and broke his neck and died when he was 79. Shortly after when my mom was about 18. My grandpa's dad died from a heart attack when my mom was 2 and my grandpa's mom died at an average age.
My father's paternal grandmother was born during William Howard Taft presidency. Born 1912. Died 2012. Age 100.
And my father's maternal gtandmother was born during Herbert Hoover presidency. Born 1931. Died 2021. Age 90.
At the time of my birth 2/8 of my great-grandparents are still alive

For me I know 9/16 of my great great grandparents but no pic and no exact date and they are all farmers from the province.😅
And also my father and mother are first cousins once removed, if I want to create a video like that should I put my Great grandparents twice?

That amazing, one of my ancestry is a Ming Dynasty Emperor ( through my grandmother line)
I have 4 great grandparent when i was born (that litually amazing) 😍

Unfortunately...one by one died, and one of them turned 100 when I was born, and died the following year at..101.
@@robertb4000 100 is very impressive. Gonna try to make 2 videos soon of more detailed looks into my mother's side & father's side of the family tree, which will include a few people who lived beyond 100

Question Your 1st great grandmother died in 1979 at 57 i hope you don't mind me asking but how did she died In her late 50s?

What sucks is she probably would've lived well into her 80s or maybe even early 90s & got to meet me if it weren't for the cancer. Her mother lived to 91, her grandmother lived to 89 & her great-grandmother lived to 88 (all in the same line) so i have reason to believe Violet would've as well if she wasn't taken so soon

@@craigl0902 I'm so sorry to hear that. Cancer is really a bad disease even though there was a cure of it between 1930 and 1940-1950's when the creator was assassinated due to invent this. By the way, can I join to your discord? The ill will is that is currently expired (the link).

Lots of researching on a website like Ancestry or FindMyHeritage. I can go much further back!

My first great great grandparent that was born she was like 9 or 10 years older than her husband and I didn’t mind that she was older.
