Because she carries first class passengers on the Skarloey, Agnes often looks down onto the other coaches who had worked with her since the early days of the Skarloey Railway. Agnes likes working with the engines but not two in particular one was Sir Handel and the other was Duncan and with the latter she didn't like Duncan's behaviour. However the scottish engine didn't care and one day he decided to place her in the middle of the train to get back at her criticism of him.

I like how this takes place during Passengers and Polish.

That was a brilliant story. Agnes getting a lead role in the story is something very new. I loved that trick Duncan played, very sneaky. The crash was surprising and I loved the flashback to 'Passengers and Polish' 😀.
I like the references to Passengers & Polish and Gallant Old Engine.

Very nice way to introduce characters from the books to those fans like me, who mainly grew up with the TV show, and also a way to introduce UK railway terms to American viewers like me.
Noice touch of this episode of NWR Flashback Tales occurring before and then during the events of Passengers and Polish. ^^
I hope we can see more of Beatrice the brakevan in future, same with Cora and the Skarloey railway hoppers too. 😊

Interesting to focus on a character I haven't heard of before.
She was originally a Railway Series character.
Agnes is one of the four original Skarloey Railway coaches in the RWS with Ruth Jemima and Lucy being the other three and a van called Beatrice goes along with them
She and the other coaches were in the RWS, and basically the snobbiest
I first stumbled across this channel when I was 10 and I really enjoyed it!

Agnes is the name of my great busia. That means grandmother in Polish.
Agnes would have made a good tv character and you’ve more than made up for that here.
Agnes seems like a Karen with her behaviour, especially after she caused the crash. She kinda deserved being put in the middle.
