Minegamer it seems like a good concept to have all of bowsers kids fight you but it’s repetitive and boring after a while. The ds bosses were all great(with the exception of petty piranha)

Mac Tonight yeah it’s just jumping up then landing on top of em. It would’ve been better if there was a vibration that damaged the player when he landed on the ground....

This was my very first DS game and holds a very special place in my heart. I loved how a lot of these bosses were just enhanced versions of other various "normal" Mario enemies. I really loved how Petey returned in this game. Thanks for this.
Ahh... i remember playing this on the bus to school years ago. i know that people throw around "this is my childhood" a lot but there's no other way i can describe the DS.
A MACKIE this was my first mario game I ever played and it is still my favorite to this day. Lakithunder is my favorite boss

I kept one in my item box and put it down right as the boss went down, and took the mushroom once they were down.
As a child, I was so scared I was gonna die every time I had to beat Mummipokey and Petey with the mini mushroom.

@@ramdem-8758 Wii U was fine cuz they had original moves and didn't have two bosses in each world, the problem was Boom Boom being repetitive, NSMB2 on the other hand didn't have creative Koopaling bosses except for Morton (kinda) and Ludwig

I fell like they had a missed oportunity by using a big goomba over goomboss.
I really want a remaster of this game, it was so good. Original and cool bosses, soundtrack, levels/level ideas, and more.
This was the very first video game i got when I was a child. This will always be part of me and my heart. I still play some of the bosses and collect coins for the nostalgia

my first game ever. still remains one of the best mario games ever made and what introduced me into the gaming world. i remember beating it for the first and went crazy, i told all my friends at school and i felt like the best gamer ever.
Remember when they had original boses and it wasn't you fighting koopalings for the 100th time? Especially with how unexpected some of the bosses were due to the world's theme like when you were going through a forest world would you expect to fight a giant Goomba? When traversing through a snow world would you ever expect to fight a plant at the end? And most of were you at all expecting Bowser himself to be the literal FIRST BOSS OF THE GAME?!
Am I the only one who would have Mario do stunts and jump over the Bowser stautes on my way to the boss?

The koopaling first appeared in Super Mario 3 if you paid close attention
In case if you have forgotten, they did reappeared in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. That's 3 years before New Super Mario Bros. came out and 6 years before they returned in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

As far as I remember, if you find the Secret Exit in the World 4 Ghost House there actually is no need to fight the World 5 Boss as Mini Mario because you could simply use the Warp Cannon in World 4 to get into World 7 that way.

I wish they had some sort of boss rush, maybe after 100% ing the game, where the bosses are much harder, because they are a bit too easy.
However, if you really want to challenge yourself, use the mini mushroom, World 2's boss can be pretty brutal with it.
Bowser learned to remove the lava underneath his bridge yet keeps insisting on having a button that collapses the whole thing anyway every. single. time.
