- This video was moved to this channel by Yu-Gi-Oh! Corneristas. The older video has been deleted from the old channel. YourTCGChoice is a new and improve version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Corneristas. Moving on to the tutorial, this video shows the basics of the game... with of course a bit of action with best buddies, Yugi and Joey.
Will Joey beat the duel computer... will the both of them make out of the duel? Find out by watching the whole interactive demo. This video was screencorded from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG USA website. However, the demo due to some gameplay changes has been deleted from the website. That's why I've uploaded it off CZcams.

This demo taught me the rules when I was a kid, before that me and my friends just guessed the rules based on the anime. This vid makes me feel nostalgic, thanks for uploading it.
This was an interactive demo of course.. For teaching you how to play. It got taken down in 2008. This is a reupload from their old channel, so the recording of this was made before the 2009 date stated. The tutorial came around 2004 ish I believe, it was removed when Konami broke apart from UpperDeck Entertainment.
He forgot about the field card zone. Where duelist played field spell cards to the field card zone to activate field power bonus points to any type of monster cards such as dragon, fairy, warrior, beast, insect, etc.
I do needed a refresh, now I'm ready to built my deck again!
My first card was Moster Reborn holo from booster Legend of the Blue Eyes Dragon. First i thought great. Later i found out that Starter decks include Monster Reborn and i was aww. But later this holo turned out to be very precious.
Fusion Monsters like Thousand Dragon can now normally be summoned in the Extra Monster Zones unless a Link Monster lets you summon a Fusion Monster to a Normal Monster Zone that the Link Monster card’s link arrows point to.

I would've laughed so hard if the computer's last card was a Kuriboh.
@shadowrazuko Lot's of reasons :p Blue eyes would be attached to the spell card and has that weakness to certain cards. Plus with a successful summon of Black Luster Soldier you can revive it later if needed.
Ok I use to play this and I want to play again I forgot how to play but learned from watching the show, this helped a lot but there is nobody to duel
A friend of mine is trying to get me into Yu-Gi-Oh, so I went over to his house and we had played a match. Sure I won, but only because the rest of 'em cheated, heheh. So thanks for the upload, because now I actually have a chance of winning, instead of hoping that they all cheat, heh.
@xXic3ys0ulXx So long as you have monsters that have not attacked then you can attack once with each of them normally. Some can do more attacks with their effects.
Oh my gosh people?? This is a training course, the object of this was not to beat a duel computer but to teach new duelists how to play. That is why Joey misplayed and got out black luster soldier, so that everyone knows how to use ritual monsters...

Yeah I misunderstood the effect of enemy controller. I didn't realize it was a till end of turn.

@shadowrazuko Blue eyes was alot more vulnerable due to it's equip card.
LOL, the computer farted at 6:26.
Because if Autonomous Action Unit is destroyed, so is the monster. So Black Luster Soldier is less vulnerable.

Is it just polymerization or all fusion based spell where you don't have to have the monsters on the field in order to summon a fusion monster.

@shadowrazuko A well placed mstical space typhoon would destroy it. So its safer to use black luster soldier.

@xyrho322 black luster soldier doesn't have an effect....
lol i don't know whats the point of tributing away blue eyes to get black luster sure its level 8 more than enough for the ritual summon but it has the exact same amount of atk and def points as black luster soldier why not just special summon blue eyes and go straight for the attack

And now there are Syncro, XYZ, Pendulum and Link Monsters, making the game too fast and too complicated for anyone who wants to start from the beginning. Back then you had to play at least 5-6 turns and now you get killed in one turn just because your opponnent can summon all the monsters in one turn and do wierd and crazy combos and can obliterate you in the first turn, while you have to stand there and watch him/her searching his entire deck. That's not ygo, that's solitaire.

Yeah. That's called a Tribute Set.

Not so stupid at all. Opponent could just use dust tornado or something like that and blue eyes would be gone. So with black luster solider there are kinda less ods of loosing powerfull monster.
Why didn't he just keep the blue eyes lol and save his ritual card. they have the same def and attack
*groans* this really IS a complicated game.. (some guys from my class play it and today i tried it with someone's deck - and was turned to ash.. Then I vowed to win against them.. It's gonna be tough!)

how anti climatic. i like the holograms better. i hope they're working on making them real :D they already have the 3d miku and other vocaloids holograms so maybe it could be possible

Joey wasted 3 cards to summon Black Luster: Action Unit, The Ritual, and Black Luster itself... The opponent got rid of it with just one card, Monster Reborn. Joey needs to think more about how to attrition his opponent out, get +1s, and gain card advantage.
