You need a U.S. Military Tri-fold Shovel. Best thing for camping. I have several, keep one in the Jeep. Keep some in Backpacks.
Use them for camping, hunting and hiking.
I came here to say the same thing I love mine and folds up nice and small. I bought mine off Amazon for around $20
Tip: put the lemon halves inside the chickens, if you want a more lemony flavor. You can also put oranges inside too. Kelly you are always fixing some awesome meals!

its the best but it works for us.at the time i believe it was 500$.it works well for both seasons,just leave the fly off.if u really wanna go cold weather u can get a canvas used by hunting guides,depending on the size it could start around 5-600$.wood stove compatible.there is nothing more miserable than being cold!!!awesome video as always.love ya’ll,stay safe

Love your videos. IAM from your region. My best memories of my marriage was made just as y'all are kept it local this was way back in the 1980 's. Also we drove a 1964 Ford Galaxy 4 door. We camped primitive in the same areas cooked out. So many memories gave me a tear. So back attcha

Campfire cooking is so tricky. Most of my dutch oven experiments turn out a little blackened too! You really have to babysit that kind of cooking or at least I feel like I do but maybe that comes with more experience! Thank you for sharing your Winter camping tips!

I was crying at about the 35:30 mark, that is on par with the Christmas vacation meal scene. An extra 1 1/2 hr on the fire, what could go wrong?

Oh I laughed so hard! You guys keep keeping it real.
In the winter don't use cots. Use air mattresses wit a pad in the bottom of your tent . Put your clothes in the bag with you. Get dressed in the bag .do not sleep in clothes but sleep with socks ,thermals on your legs, and be in the buff from the waist up with a knit hat on .use a fleece over the top of the bag to keep out drafts .you will be toasty warm down to 25 with the right bag. Also get a folding army shovel for around the fire. Have fun....
You eat better camping than most people eat at home you're a very lucky guy.

Girl, you need to publish a camping cookbook! Everything I've seen you make looks delicious and like nothing I've ever had camping before in my life. My mouth salivated at the olive cheese bread appetizer thing then you hit me with the asparagus and I about died. That meteor chicken was hysterical but sounded amazing in theory, so I can't hold that against you. And, I defy anyone to find a better flavor combination than orange and cranberry.

I got to hear about the buddy heater (I’ve heard from others too). AND OMG!!!! you had me dying! Laughing so hard for minutes I was crying!! The chicken!!! We love to use our Buddy heater when we camp in the cold too. It sure helps cut the chill. Pretty sure Kellie and I have the same set of thermals, I wear them under my "bibs"... it's like having a coat for your legs! 😂 The burnt chicken segment had me laughing so hard. I watch these at work on my lunch break and my coworkers wanted to know what was so dang funny! Ps. I love the episodes with Jonathan... he seems like such a sweet kid.

Peppadew appetizer. Sweet roasted canned seeded mini red peppers. Stuff with goat cheese that has some mild seasoning in it. Supper yummy and very good for a camping appetizer. Try it sometime!

Cant say nothing about camp cookig because when I go camping here in south central Louisiana I eat foods like fire roasted hamburger steak...sausage jambalya....chicken sauce piquant......and chicken and sausage gumbo. There are times I eat survival food also. Wait a minute....gumbo is a survival food :))
i know its getting hard to find interesting things to film in the colder weather like mountain biking and kayaking like your earlier videos, but i still like you guys! i guess im just not much of a cooker.
Yes it’s hard also when you can’t shower after. Most camps have there showers closed and it’s so cold even with our shower on the H3. We will be traveling out of state soon
