- Hey Y’all. An impromptu video for the middle of the week! I truly hope this helps someone out there. Remember to be nice to yourself. You need a pep talk too! I hopes this video helps to inspire you and remind you to give yourself grace. Look for improvement but it’s okay to be nice to you as well. I got EXACTLY what you were saying here. We should show ourselves as much compassion and love as we do other people. I read a post today on IG where a young lady said she was entering her UNhumble season. It’s ok for us to be proud of ourselves. It’s ok to tell ourselves how awesome we are. I think it was beautiful that you are such an amazing friend that someone would be willing to drive 3 hours just to spend time with you!!!! And that says as much about you as it does about her!!! ❤❤❤

I would have never thought of it that way at all. I guess I was always taught to think of the other person, especially for something like this. I would feel so bad that they traveled so far and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. But you are right, for someone to feel comfortable to make the drive and rearrange their schedule means a lot and you definitely have a positive vibe. Thanks for the different perspective.

It feels funny to do that but I like to think that is a good thing because then you can have a healthy reflection of yourself. I’d rather think I’m good and other people think I am great than the other way around. It doesn’t hurt to toot your own horn from time to time though ☺️
